Heritage Inn & Suites Ridgecrest - China Lake

Clean, quiet, spacious.

The room was ridiculous. No lighting controls near night stand, no lamp on night stand, no power points for phone etc on or near night stand. you have to get out of bed to do ANYTHING. Everything was on the opposite wall. So I pulled the nightstand away from the wall (heavy) unplugged the alarm clock and plugged in my phone charger. Tip - take a 20’ charging cable with you. Also massive room and tiny, tiny bathroom.

The hotel was clean and excellent location. The front desk staff was fantastic and helpful. Overall it was a pleasant stay at a reasonable rate.

We feel the Heritage Inn is one of the older hotels in Ridgecrest and New owners are transitioning it to a budget hotel. The pool was not in service in the desert in July. The restaurant is also not open.

As most people said in their reviews, all of the staff was incredible! It’s always so nice to be traveling and run into friendly people that act like they enjoy their job. Room was clean and everything worked. Nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room without having to ask for it.

The rooms are a bit old, however they are kept up decently.

Alex at the front desk was amazing. We brought our small dog Rosie, and told him when we were leaving for dinner to call us if she gets lonely and starts making noise. We did not receive a call...we were surprised. Alex took it upon himself to make sure she was ok, and allowed us to have an uninterrupted dinner. The best service from a hotel EVER ! Thank you Rodeway Inn.

The property was impressive at first glace with its grand entrance and very clean well tended landscape. Checking in was a piece of cake even as I called to see if we could check in early after a night of driving. Alex at the front desk made things happen and even made sure the next person coming on the shift was aware of our early check in. Our king suite was clean and nicer than the photos seen online. All the front desk fellas were great and all were named Alex except for one ( I think) which obviously made it easy to remember lol ( Hey Guys thanks for being extremely helpful and easy going😉) I did have an interaction with a female the first evening, she was NOT helpful and came off as lazy when I asked for a change of bedding after spilling a water bottle. She said the maids had left and didnt offer any other option. Since it wasnt my first rodeo I prompted ideas to get dry linens and she said I would have to bring bedding to front desk to get new stuff. This hotel isnt very big and the suite we were in was very close to the front desk; that being said I’d think her hospitality could have been activated especially that its the hospitality industry! My husband ended up going down to the desk to get the task done. Even with her not so friendly interaction the other great staff I mentioned had made our stay very really nice and we will return when we visit our friends in Ridgecrest.

Wish there was a breakfast or something but understandable since covid-19 ruins everything

Spa was very good and relaxing, bed was the best ever, staff super friendly, quiet and comfy location, good easy parking, laundry room excellent $1 per load great prices. Highly recommend this place for a comfy one or 2 night stay

towels very small and quite useless, they also had bad stains on them, the curtain rail was broken and came off easy, breakfast is basic but is getting a revamp.

Extremely nice concierge. Lobby and common spaces were updated and very nice. The room, while a bit dated, was clean and spacious.

The rooms could use updating. The door stuck and was tricky to operate. The bathroom was dark and dank. The bathroom fan had a hole in it and blew hot air into the bathroom.

The 1st thing that made my stay so great was the way I was treated by a young lady named Dora and her supervisor Alex what a great team these two really made sure my stay was the best.

Staff was friendly; room and the bed was comfortable.

breakfast was limited even by "continental" breakfast standards. I would have liked a hot cereal option and / or toast or bagels.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated, but clean. The bed was okay. Beautiful and clean lobby area.

I don't have anything negative to stay.
