Quality Inn Near China Lake Naval Station

Bed was big and very comfortable. The AC unit worked very well. TV was great. Breakfast was really awesome (Scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles that we could make in a waffle iron!, cereal, yogurt, sweet rolls, bagels, milk, orange juice, etc.).

The ice machine was constantly out of ice (even when it wasn't actually MAKING ice), and that really sucked since it was 107 degrees out. Didn't really like that it was right on the street because random weirdos were knocking on doors, and hiding from sight when we looked through the peephole (waiting for somebody to open the door and take advantage of them). Need some kind of security there.

we needed a place to stay before heading to Whiteny Portal the next morning and this fit the bill. room is clean, good size, plenty of towels and comfortable. the rate was pretty reasonable and the area felt safe as well. breakfast was good: make your own waffle along with some sausage and eggs, cereals, pastries, etc good enough for me.

only thing was the ice machine was broken. bummer. we were planning on filling up our bladders for our hike. luckily the staff were able to provide small individual bags of ice for us.

The air conditioner was on when we entered the room so the room wasn't hot witch was a plus when it's 110 outside... The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and so was the bathroom... The room has plenty of space to move around and be comfortable. The breakfast was great, we had scrabble eggs, sausage, and waffles. They also have milk, cereal, juice, bagles and, bread to choose from...

The only things I didn't like was the fridge didn't have a freezer and the ice machine was out of order...

The staff was excellent. The hotel clerk and housekeeper were so kind and friendly, and happy to meet our dog. There were some old stains on the carpet in the room, not fresh, no odor, just signs of wear and tear. We WOULD stay here again. I felt everyone was doing their best to serve us!

Stains. It could be a bit closer into the heart of Ridgecrest.

Did not like how it was free breakfast but could not take it back to your room. You had to eat it there in lobby. I'm not a good morning person so my husband usually brings me food but since that was the policy he would not go eat because he wasn't able to bring anything back for myself

The room was comfortable and clean. Everything worked. Had a fridge, microwave and hair dryer too. The desk clerk was friendly. The breakfast was the standard Choice Hotels breakfast which is good - liked that there was raisin bran for the cereal.

The parking lot was congested. It cleared out fast in the morning, though. Mostly dirt bike riders, some with extensions on their trucks to carry their bikes and in some cases pulling trailers.

The lady behind the desk couldn't be more helpful and friendly.. and the breakfast was fab as an inc . We booked the room last minute and the room was massive.

Pool needed a bit of a tidy but they had not long had a freak flood and storm.

Very clean and spacious room with all standard items available + Iron, hair dryer, good air conditioning, front desk lady very helpful, very tasty breakfast with quite good variety of stuff including eggs and delicious sausages,

could be renewed to look more new, but it wasn’t really an issue

Nice location. Pretty clean room, comfortable mattresses. Good breakfast with tasty waffles 😋 The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. There's a pool but we didn't use it.

Water was not draining well neither in the sink nor in the bathtub.

..check-in was friendly and professional..... room was clean and comfortable...

...the ice machine was out of order and looked to have been inop for some time... vending machines inoperative as well.... the sign on the machine said to check with the front desk for ice,,,front desk had no ice!!!
