Beautiful location. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was responsive and helpful when called over the phone. Nice to have a fridge and microwave to use as needed. Free coffee/tea was nice to have. Family managed so it felt more intimate and personal. PingPong table and pool table were entertaining.
No AC in room. Would like a garbage can/fridge/microwave available in bedroom instead of a communal space. No instructions for certain things like: using the common dishes and where to leave them, where to get fresh towels (not swapped daily), check-in/check-out process.

For a mansion built in the 1800 it’s amazing. Perfect for those who enjoy history and appreciate architecture in a B&B atmosphere. Just far away from the hustle and bustle while maintaining the quiet country feel. Once the secret is out, we won’t be able to afford this gem of a property.
AC would be a nice option in the summer time. Even a portable unit for those who requests it would be acceptable w/o having to alter the original structure.

The well preserved building itself, the spacious room, furniture that fits the style of the building, the cleanliness, quiet area, enough parking spaces, nice view out the window with light-blocking curtains, comfy bed. Area outside looked to be great for going on a walk too. A great upscale feel for a reasonable price. Phone number was always being answered and any questions were answered right away.
narrow gate and having to go around a corner makes it a pain to enter and exit the parking lot if you're driving a big SUV like I did and street parking was not allowed, somewhat narrow parking spaces (again for big SUVs), not immediately clear on which side the main door is located (instructions stated to follow "walkway between lawns" which somewhat helped, but a nice big sign would've been preferred). The stairs to the 2nd floor where rooms are located were quite steep, something to consider if you're carrying heavy bags or have trouble climbing stairs.

Very nice home....Will be a nice B&B assuming the new owners get it all set up and running smoothly. The young woman who was there was very sweet & accommodating. Our room was nice but had no window to the outdoors.
The instructions to enter the house were confusing. Had to call and even then you were talking to someone who was not at the property. Tried the combination that we were given for front door and it didn't work. Finally the young woman there let us in. She was very sweet & accommodating.

Finally an accomodation which doesn't feel like an average motel. Beautiful garden, multiple common rooms with bar or pool table and large bedroom. Stayed in second floor with windows to the garden.
Mold on the wall in the bathroom and sound of cars driving on a main road which is surprisingly close to the chateau, although the pictures don't show it. Air-conditioning in the room was broken, so not sure how unpleasant it would be during summer.

The chateau is in a quiet location. You will sleep well. The staff person I interacted with was very helpful. The tv wasn’t working when I got there and it was a complicated effort to get it back up and running and she took the necessary time to do it and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay before leaving me to settle in. the bathroom was by far the largest I’ve ever had in a hotel stay, and the bed was comfortable.
There was a bit of a musty odor in the room.

We loved the spacious room with the separate living room to watch tv, we spent lots of time there watching netflix... the bed was very comfy..we also loved wandering around the property there"s a park right outside the property, inside the gate the garden was well kept and there were plenty of places to seat and enjoy the view.. the staff we met was very friendly.. over all we had a wonderful stay...
There were no breakfast offered during our stay

The Chateau is lovely. It was clean and comfortable. It is an historic building and might use a little TLC to spruce it up, but it did not detract from my stay at all.
The overhead light was not working, or I couldn't figure it out. I wasn't there long enough to catch anyone to ask as if I had, I'm sure it would have been taken care of.

unique, location, use of the historic house preserving the original details
I realize updating heat & plumbing into individual rooms in a 100+ yr old house isn’t easy to maintain, so was not surprised the hot water in shower was only warm, & room temp control was sketchy, it might be better to get basic fixtures, but I will stay again & still recommend staying

I liked the whole welcome home feeling the staff gave off. The property was a sight for the eyes that are surrounded by society. Not to mention the pool table lounge. But leaving there with a feeling of freshness like all my stresses. Didn't leave but felt less of a thing to stress about
There's noise curfew/ quiet hour. I felt like I was in jail at lights out
