I loved the staff, the cleanliness, and as weird as this sounds, the fans in the entryway as I entered! It felt like I was walking into a beach resort in the Bahamas. I wish I could have used the pool, but my time did not allow that. But my mother used the gym and she LOVED it! This was a very excellent hotel to stay in.

This has nothing to do with Best Western per se... but the neighbors to my room (we didn't know them but there was a conjoined door) stayed up ALL night yelling, screaming, swearing, and blasting their television. It made it nearly impossible to sleep and I know that's not the hotel's fault, but it also seemed like these neighbors were living in the hotel (no judgment) if they are long-term residents, maybe the staff could talk to them to shut up? So people can sleep? I had a huge exam to take, and barely got sleep because the couple was either having loud intercourse or they were fighting the whole night.

FANTASTIC BREAKFAST! We stayed here this time two nights before and after the Rose Bowl Game, but once before for the 2015 Rose Parade,. and I always remembered the breakfast. There is a short order cook who makes your breakfast from choices on a menu--ranging from omelets and traditional breakfasts of ham and eggs to pancakes and eggs Benedict. The breakfast room was pretty full, but the wait was short--she had several orders going at the same time. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The room had a sitting area with a sofa and coffee table. Easy access just off the 57, but a very quiet location; beautiful courtyard grounds and pool area (although as it was cold and rainy, we didn't spend time outside). I especially liked that the heat/air conditioner was a long ways from the bed with a low dividing wall in between so that it didn't blow in our faces all night. Parking close to the building.

The plug for the bathtub didn't work but otherwise, our only complaint was the access to our room. The hotel has no elevator (all the corridors are outside), and we had to carry our luggage through a keyed gate and up (and down) a flight of stairs, and then down a long corridor to our room--we're 76, so this wasn't an easy task. When we departed it was raining and the stairs were not covered and very wet. An elevator would be a major addition to this hotel!

Best Western was my home for 20 days and it was an amazing experience! Everything was very clean and breakfast was very good! I went to study at the University of La Verne and made many friends both at the hotel (the students who were staying there) and at the University! The entire hotel team is to be congratulated for their work and professionalism. It was all very good! The hotel is very close to the shopping centers and for those who like to walk, the University can be reached on foot. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

excellent breakfast, and lovely quiet atmosphere with beautiful landscaping around the pool. enjoyed eating breakfast poolside and sitting out in the evening. was also withing walking distance to several restaurants.

our room had a leak in the bathtub faucet that was reported to the desk.

EVERYTHING was going good.

The fact that we had no hot water and it happened at the wrost time possible cause it was my wifes birthday and we were trying to get ready to go celebrate and have dinner but had to wait over an hour for hot water so that really pushed our plans back 😕🤨.

Unfortunately, hotel prices have increased a lot over the last 12 months, so I haven't quite gotten used to the current room prices, even though I have stayed 10+ nights at a hotel this year. The hotel was close to where we were traveling, and the breakfast was excellent.

The pull-out sleeper sofa needs to be replaced as the mattress has seen better days. The king bed (according to my brother and his wife was more comfortable than their own bed).

The made-to-order breakfast was very good. The room offered two queen beds and a sofa bed, which is golden when you're traveling with two teenagers who don't want to share a bed! The courtyard pool and gardens were beautiful and well-maintained, and it was nice to be able to eat breakfast out there.

There was a bit of that old musty smell to the carpets in the room.

Great location. Nice and clean hotel.

The hotel is older, so the walls and floors are thin. If you are on the first floor and people are above you, it is very loud. A child in the room above us ran and jumped until 11 pm. It was a bit annoying.

Good location. Very nice breakfast, with fresh cooked eggs, french toast, and pancakes in addition to the usual continental breakfast items. Big rooms, with sofa and chair. Beds were very comfortable. Grounds were beautiful. Walking distance to restaurants

The breakfast was delicious.

our room was upstairs and i did not locate an elevator, so i carried my luggage up the stairs.
