Simple but cozy with working AC, fridge, microwave. Host is very quick to respond to questions

The long dirt road that leads up to the building was not well groomed so our low vehicle bumped on/scraped on the ground often in places where the road is uneven- there was even a larger bump in the road that we couldn’t make it over at all and had to park in a different parking space than the one assigned to our room. The water temperature of the shower swung straight from cold to scalding hot and it was impossible for us to get a comfortably warm temperature to shower in. Whereas the host provides towels, they are smaller than regular towels

The location was perfect for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks. We loved the room, and the scenery. We really appreciated the microwave, refrigerator and provided dishes. This place felt loved and well cared for. This was a wonderful stop on our road trip as a couple of newly weds.

A sign that advised us to check our emails for room and code information might have been helpful on arrival, a posted phone number would also be helpful for visitors who are less tech savvy. My wife and I found the shower water temperature difficult to adjust comfortably, it was either too hot or too cold. Creamer would have also been nice with the morning coffee, we did have sugar. These are relatively small gripes though. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Loads of space, our own cabin and porch to sit out on (complete with nosey cats). Kitchen to cook in was helpful, though could have done with a bigger pan and plates. Location was great for us - good for the national park and out in the country. The drive is bumpy but fine if you take it slow. Friendly owners too.

Kitchen could do with a bigger pan and plates, and a pair of scissors. It's pretty dusty so a brush would be good too. The olace is old and a bit tired but fine and good value.

The property is in a fairly isolated / secluded area, which is what we were looking for - very peaceful and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable enough, but don't expect too much - this is not a hotel or fancy B&B. It has all the basic's you'll need.

The directions for finding the room once you enter the property were not very clear, so I called the host and they quickly explained where to go. It would be helpful if there were more signs to direct one to the rooms once you enter the property. The road/drive way to access the property is pretty bumpy and un-paved, my BMW only just made it. Also, we never found the "reception desk" or met any staff, we literally arrived and the key was in the door. We stayed the night and left early in the morning only meeting a few other guests. This was not a problem for us but may be a bit unusual for some...

Everything. The property is located on a family owned compound nestled in the foothills of squaw valley. The rooms offered were located inside on old converted barn. It's obvious to anyone that comes to stay at this place that the owners really enjoy what they do. The attention to detail is simply amazing. The staff( husband and wife ) make sure your stay is a relaxing and enjoyable as possibly ...making sure you want for nothing. . Allot of time and energy went into the design as well the decor of each room...no stone unturned! ..Would I stay here again ? Absolutely!!

That I could only stay one night!

it was such a clean, cozy, and quiet place to relax after a long day in the park. conveniently located, but enough of a ways out from the main road to feel like a getaway. it was lovely!

i would only recommend more signage, especially in front of the building with rentals to distinguish from the other buildings on the property.

The location was great. Very rustic and remote, if that’s what you are looking for. The room was clean and appropriate to the ranch location. Air conditioner worked well, but is loud. Beds are comfortable. Fridge and microwave were helpful since there is very limited food service nearby.

A bit minimal in terms of supplies, but the cute spunky kitty outside made up for it. Unfortunately, Netflix was not operating for two of our three nights, even after mentioning it to the owner.

The house was spacious.

The comforter in my room had a bad smell of human urine. Thought I could tolerate it since I am a Mom with three grow up children and now a grandma with grand children but the smell was so potent that it kept me awake almost all night long. It was late into the night and so I did not want to bother the owner, but now I regret that I didn’t! That is the only thing that keeps my staying experience from a perfect one!

We enjoyed the rural, quiet locality. The use of their space was creative and comfortable. No "cookie cutter" lodging. We made a request for a first floor accommodation and easy parking for my disabled husband and the room couldn't have worked out better. It was a relatively convenient for visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia. The welcome with text communication was excellent and the checkin/checkout was flawless. We felt connected to the host, but never met anyone in person. Pretty cool!

The drive was a bit difficult on the car. The room was quite warm and stuffy when we arrived - a ceiling fan could have helped.

The accomodation was nice and stylish. We also appreciated normal dishes (not plastic like everywhere else!). Shower was hot with shampoo, body wash and even condicioner. Bogdan, the owner, was very nice and we had a nice chat with him. We definitely recommend this accomodation.

Access to the accommodation is via a slightly steep dirt road but we had no problem to get there even with our VW Jetta.
