Staff super friendly and accommodating. Cabin was cute, bed comfy. The BBQ pit and patio set up was a plus Stayed at Homeymoose cabin. I'd recommend the sheets be cleaned and washed.mine had actual dirt and leaves in between the sheets. Thankfully I bring my own blankets when I travel.also the blinds could be replaced in the cabin. No central heat or air. Only a fan which did heat up the cabin.

Clean bedding, it was obvious they do not replace the bedding. Mine was full of dirt when I checked in I did not use their sheets

Staff is friendly. Locations is great. Close to the restaurants and the stores. We even found a spot to sled near our room. The room was warm and cozy. Plenty of hot water for showers. Tv set up to log in to favorite streaming service.

No staff for check in or checkout. The note said call phone number on door, but there was no number. The bed spread had gunk on it. The dryer was out so we do not have a way to dry all our snow clothes. That was a real bummer. No breakfast provided. There was one mug in our room and only artificial sweeteners available no real plain sugar, and no stirring sticks. All in all some minor details.

Location central at Shaver Lake was the reason for our choice. 2nd time we had been there while our son and family camped at Edison campground. Unit clean. AC worked fine. Bed comfortable. We stayed in the central 8-rooms unit. there are also cabins we have no experience with.

Only VCR. We could not watch the presidential debate. Two wooden chairs hard to sit on to read in the evening.

Cozy, clean, centrally located. Very helpful and friendly staff. Well kept rooms and grounds even during snow storm. Plowed parking lot.

WiFi signal wasn’t always available, but it was during inclement weather, so I am thankful for any connection. The place of very good and family friendly.

The location was great as it was within walking distance for everything that we wanted. The cabin accommodated 3 plus people which is exactly what we wanted. The AC & heat worked great & the bathroom was good.

The coffee was in an awkward place as the cord didn't reach the plug so we moved it lower to adapt it to work.

There was no breakfast available in the breakfast room. But Ken's grocery store is right next door and has everything you need for your stay.

I wish they had a basic breakfast available. It was raining and snowing and we were traveling with 6 adults, I wish the breakfast room was available throughout the day for games and such.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Everything was very clean and there was good wifi. Obviously this isn't the Ritz Carlton it's rustic and charming, multiple firepits and hang out spots around the property, there are different types and levels of accommodation to fit your budget, overall a great value in a great location. We skipped the breakfast and went to Shaver Coffee and Deli up the street which made us awesome breakfast burritos.

Great place to stay. Very clean and plenty of beds for our group of 7. I wish we had more time to explore the town, we were there off-season so it was very quiet. We checked in late and left the next morning. I did not realize the elevation of Shaver Lake and how long it would take us to get there from Yosemite. Oops! Charming place and worth the trip - just a very long and winding drive!

There were no kitchen towels, only a sponge.

the area was beautiful. the location was perfect. the accommodations were great.

we had a room that faced the street and we had the windows open. the early morning traffic woke us up long before we were ready to wake up.

We spent there a night before going backpacking. The rooms were spacious and cozy, Shaver lake is just a minute away (by car), and there are lots of nice little restaurants around. Overall feeling is very nice - the area burned last year and you can see that the forest suffered a lot, but around the hotel there are still huge pine trees and there is an overall feeling of a nice mountain resort. I wish I could come there around Christmas.

We stayed there last year and this year and both times we moved a couch a little to be able to open the trundle and were surprised that the floor underneath was not cleaned for months. It was sticky, dusty and disgusting. Otherwise the rooms are clean, but whoever does the cleaning thinks that the space under the furniture is not his/her responsibility. Also the hotel called us and said that since we are coming at 7 pm the front desk would be already closed and they’ll just leave us the keys outside the office. I asked to leave us a spare blanket as well and when we came the keys were there, but no blanket.
