large and roomy, 2 bathrooms , ceiling fan, tv in every room (3) staff was very nice esp Danielle, made sure we were comfortable and even gave us a complementary check out at 2 PM instead of 12 PM because of the time difference we had to wind the clock forward at 2 AM. full kitchen which was also very convenient, considering we had snacks to put out and such. It was a mini slumber party for my daughter and her cousins..

the property was a little run down, the walls were peeling in some parts , the ice dispenser did not work but Danielle made sure we got a bag of ice. I didn’t like how the rooms were situated there’s a main bedroom on the 1st floor, then upstairs is a “loft” type of room so you could still hear and see everything going on downstairs. Also it woulda been nice to have a jacuzzi as there was only a pool, and it was very very small. Breakfast was only served till 10 even on the night we had to turn our clocks forward so we missed that as well.

Parking fee that was not stated upfront and not included in the estimate quoted on bookings.com. Frustrated that parking is ‘an extra service’. Will hesitate to book residence inn in the future.

Everything was so clean inside and outside, the rooms set up was awesome we loved it. The staff was polite and professional. The water pressure in the shower was great compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in.

The only thing I really didn’t understand was the $500 deposit. I’ve never paid that much for a deposit on any hotel in my life. I got two rooms, my card was charged two $400 charges, the amount for two rooms was only $288 plus $500 would only be $788. Residence inn is usually the only hotel I stay at when I travel and they usually only take $100 deposit.

I really liked the kitchen unit; it had everything we needed to make a meal. I appreciated the full-size refrigerator ; we needed it to keep our required medications cold.

Our only issue was that the bathroom door would not stay shut.

The property was close to everything but also quiet inside. Comfortable beds and plenty of space, it felt like a home away from home.

Coffee maker inside was dirty as well as some of the dished felt like there was a bit if dishwasher detergent still on them.

This hotel is great if you’re looking for a quick getaway close by Santa Clara. I stayed with friends overnight in the Penthouse Suite to go to the Halloween Haunt and found the room very comfortable and homey, especially for the low price. Netflix on the tv is also a big plus, have stayed before and will definitely stay again.

My only complaint is one of the sliding closet doors was slightly off the rack and I couldn’t get the lower bedroom tv to work but everything else was absolutely perfect!

Very clean and perfect for what we needed.

Parking. We arrived back after the Taylor Swift concert and no parking available. We had to park at the check in desk but we’re still changes $15 for parking.

Breakfast was great! Scones, waffles with blueberry sauce. The man who was on staff overlooking the breakfast room was so very friendly and helpful. He made our day.

The bathroom door kind of scraped against the toilet to open/shut it.

There's no need to insult guests with a parking fee. Or if you must add the fee, make it smaller. Make it $6 not $12. Add $6 to the less expensive days of the week and $12 to the more expensive days. I get that you're in a war to book customers at the best rate, but show them the rate and insist that the booking agencies provide a checkbox if they want parking.
