Americas Best Value Inn - Joshua Tree/Twentynine Palms

Plenty of parking and love the outdoor patio and bbq next to the pool.

I understand Americas Best and Oasis Hotel are owned by the same person and share the property/parking but I did not exactly care for the behavior of the guests staying at the property next door which shares parking lot next to the pool. At this point I’m not sure if we stayed at the Oasis Hotel or Americas Best.

They offer breakfast in the lobby cafe with assorted pastry, muffin, cereal and sandwich choices, milk, juice, etc. which is moderately priced and fresh and delicious. There's also a restaurant at their sister hotel just a few feet away in adjacent parking lot which offers good hot meal choices for dinnertime. All good and competitive prices👍

My room was no where near what I had specified regarding location. I requested a room by the Zen Garden on the south side of the bldg. They put me right in the middle between 2 stairwells on the 2nd floor way off away from the Garden instead🤷

The property is dated; however, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is roomy. The TV worked without issue, and they even had a great little coffee/tea maker in the room with coffee, sugar packets, cream and mixers. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and professional too. Incredible value for the price!!

It was very dated, with some cosmetic issues such as peeling wallpaper and older carpet. However, overall, it is a great place to stay. Clean and comfortable.

The location and price is hard to beat! The bathroom was very clean and spacious.

There was no coffee maker in the room, even though on the listing it said so. They only give two towels for 4 guests so make sure you bring your own towels. The walls are very thin and do not block sound very well. On one of the nights, the neighbors blasted the TV and screamed and reacted to the movie all night. One of the lights were broken so the room was dark.

Though no free breakfast offered, there was breakfast to be purchased & was excellent! Best water pressure of all the 5 hotels we stayed at on this trip! Centrally located for all our needs! Will definitely stay again!

Nothing. No pool but we had no need for it coz we were always out. Few parking spaces but the parking spot in front our room always seemed available.

The room was very affordable and made checking in a lot easier with booking.com. Our stay was very comfy it was easy to control the room temperature. Definitely a lot space.

The outdoor patio was a bit sketchy but that's probably because it was hallow. Um every now and then there'd be a loud neighbor. The pillows were a little small though it could've been a lot bigger. Some electrical out ports were very hard to access.

the proximity to downtown 29palms and Joshua Tree national park was great and the hotel was easy to get to.

the door seal in our room was not in great shape, so we had some desert crawlers visit us through the night, which were not a big fan of.

Location was perfect for our needs. Liked having a desk as well as a table.

Did not like loud fan whenever we turned on bathroom light. Non-functioning whirlpool tub took up valuable space. Towels were very thin.

Walls to thin...you hear everything...not a place to gone to, if you want a good sleep

nice location, good room size- it even had a little stove top and a good size fridge ! cafe on site, a little pricey but at least it’s there (grocery store in plaza next door). overall good rate and would stay again.

the carpet was ripped a bit at the transition and was a bit sharp, would be better just to pull it all
