Very quiet--no noise from neighbors or the road. Clean room. Staff were responsive to our needs: reassured us before arrival that a late-night check-in was no problem; provided a space heater, extra pillows, and a fridge upon request. Location is very convenient for a visit to Joshua Tree National Park.

The heater in the room didn't work, and there was no refrigerator (it had recently broken down, and a new one was on order). But when we raised those concerns, the staff brought in a fridge from another unit, and they also brought us a space heater that was super quiet and worked well. One of the chairs in our room had badly stained upholstery, and the shower curtain had a big brown stain, but linens were clean and the room itself was clean.

Just minutes away from Joshua Tree NP entrance, close to restaurants and gas stations, friendly staff and easy check-in process, easy access and ample parking, and it was quiet except for a little bit of road noise, which was to be expected. Did not hear neighbors.

The heater inside the room was inconsistent. It was near-freezing out at night, and there were times it was noticeably cold in the room. Conversely, there were also times when the heater seemed to stay on forever. Wish it would have just maintained a nice, ambient temperature.

The location was perfect and very welcoming. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful and our rooms were spacious and clean. We would have liked to have tried the pool but it was too hot! Great to have access to free ice and also a cheap laundry area, which was very welcome indeed! The thick curtains in the rooms kept heat and light out and the beds were very comfy.

Nothing! If there was one thing that could be improved, I’d say the air con was a bit too noisy at night - maybe a fan would be a good addition?

Good value for the money. The location is perfect for visiting Joshua Tree. This is an old school motel & it was nice to park right outside the room. The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. It is an okay place to stay but is not at all fancy. My husband and I were happy with our decision to save some money at this place. There was a pool but we did not use it. The room had a fridge with a separate freezer which was nice for freezing ice packs for the next leg of our trip.

The bedding was cheap quality - clean but worn and dated. I'm not sure if the heat actually worked, our room was cool. I had to go to the office to get a hairdryer since there was none in the room.

The woman who finally called was nice on the phone. She also stayed later than expected and waited for me to check in. She was very friendly. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. There was HBO TV. I had plenty of towels and when requested she made sure I had a room further away from the main road for quietness.

Only complaint was they didn’t answer the phone all morning And mid afternoon when I needed to check in early.

Very clean and well appointed room, with full kitchen (hob, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and cute little eating area). Liked the big bed, and the usb ports in the sockets were handy. The garden was very well maintained. Didn’t get a chance to use it but the pool also looked nice.

Nothing. It was very nice. There were a couple of food places in walking distance and It was a short drive to a range of eating options.

I was a bit unsure about how this motel would be but I was pleasantly surprised! It was probably the most spacious motel room that I have stayed in! In good location off the main road. My room was towards the back so no issue of noise from the road.

Parking spaces were a little tight (by American standards) but really nothing to complain about.

WiFi was excellent, fast, and working consistently. Frig, and microwave were working fine. The room was clean, heater was working fine.

The bed was sagging on edges but it was firm in the middle so I slept fine. The local power went out about 5-7 hrs thru the night. I wish the staff had come around to inform the residents with an update during the morning.

The motel is a well cared for older property. The (king) room was small, but very well equipped with a large closet, large flat screen TV, a dresser and a small table with two chairs. The shower is also small but had excellent water pressure and hot water. If you are a very large person, it may be too tight, but if you are normal and looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay at low expense, stay here. We also stayed at the other older motel in the area. It was fine, but not as good.

The pool was cool but refreshing after a hot day. Very near the northern entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. There is also a subway a minutes walk away so you can get lunch before going into the park. We bought a take away Pizza from Papa John's 5 minutes away and enjoyed eating it outside on the tables.

The bathroom floor could do with a deep clean into the corners but otherwise it was a good basic motel.
