We just like the fact that the location is good, nearby stores and restaurants and centrally located by the highway not far from Joshua Tree National Park which was our visit destination. They did upgrade our room to make up for the mistake they made during check-in (they gave us a room originally where a person was still checked in there).

They originally gave us a room where someone was still checked in there. How could the front desk would not know that someone has not checked out yet? Glad we didn't get to see a naked person in there or got shot for entering the room. The upgraded room provided in return for their check-in mistake has a hair dryer that was broken and it started to smoke, so I had to unplug it and reported it to a cleaning staff I saw on the hallway.

I stayed 12/27&12/28/24 and the evening staff was absolutely amazing. I wish I remembered his name to give him some credit. Based on google reviews I didn't have high hopes but our room was clean, spacious, the hot tub and pool were in working order. Everything was good minus the room having a bit of a smell when we first arrived. They had a restaurant on site as well but we didn't try it. Can walk to the grocery store/dollar store next door for anything you might need. Close to the entrance of Joshua tree or the 49 palms hike

Gordon allowed me to check in early for an additional $20, and then went over and above by showing me physically three different rooms so I could choose one with a good view. The room was spacious and clean, with a pool and mountain view. Quiet. Bed very comfortable. Very close to the less-known and less crowded national park entrance.

The only thing that could have been better was the carpeting throughout the common areas. Room carpeting was good, but hallways and elevator really needed changing. Not a big deal.

The gentleman working the front desk was very polite and accommodating. I had no doubts checking into my room and had enjoyed my stay.

I had no issues with the property; however, my curtains did not cover the entirety of the window. The curtains are on sliders and meet each other in the middle of the window. Since they meet each other in the middle, they do not overlap one another and leaves a gap of space that leads to a view of the outside pool area. When it is dark outside, it is very easy to look inside a well-lit building and I felt that my privacy was compromised.

We were here many years ago and we loved the pool and hot tub and the laundry facilities.we loved our big beautiful room with the desert view. Staff very friendly.

Awful coffee in the machine in the room, would have appreciated some at the front desk. My pillow was too hard and big but I was given a better one when I asked the housekeeper but she didn’t make up our room that day. No fridge in our room but I was told that I would get a partial refund.

Room was very nice. Front desk staff were very personable. Interior was very clean. Well located to what I wanted to see. Many food options without driving too far.

No food option available, however an in-hotel restaurant was due to open several weeks after I was there. You must ask the front desk for ice. Difficult to turn left out of their driveway onto Hwy 62.

Staff was friendly and helpful, it had everything a hotel should, easy to navigate, plenty of towels, easy parking, didn't complicate my trip

It's not a 5 star resort I guess the decor could've been more "wow" but that's not a necessity. 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner didn't work for me, good thing I brought my own hair mask.

If tou are going to visit the wonderful of Joshua Desert, coming by car (how would you anyway?) and looking for a stay that will allow you to rest and prepare for the exploration and visiting, then you should really take in consideration this hotel. It has got its style, it is clean and the room offer coffee/thee maker and a not so mini fridge as well.

Nothing. The thing is that when you are near the desert what you really care is to stay up and out until late for stargazing and get up really early to see the sun do it's painting job on wonderfully shaped rocks and vegetation. If you don't, please feel sorry for you.

The hotel is just amazing! We didn't expect too much but were truly surprised by what it has to offer. Firstly, we were welcomed by a great reception guy (do not remember his name), but he was all happy and joking all the time. Although I was tired after hiking in Joshua Tree NP all day, he made my day and hyped us with his positivity. Another welcomed additional value was a swimming pool available. We spent a good time there and refreshed ourselves enough. The room was spacious, and tidy, with comfy beds, and a great bathroom, had a drink in a pub downstairs, so what you can dream of?

Nothing at all. It exceeded our expectations and we were sad to leave right the next day. Please, be aware of checking in at the neighboring hotel, it is just a few steps from it right next door. No big deal.

I loved the location, it’s perfect for Joshua Tree day trips. There’s grocery stores nearby and the staff is really nice.

It’s dated for sure. The bedding is a very low thread count so I slept with a long sleeve shirt on and wrapped a t shirt around my pillow. Seriously it was that rough, never had to do that anywhere else.
