The owners have done a wonderful job restoring a vintage property. It was period-appropriate with modern updates (a beautiful pool, great A/C, Direct TV, etc). The breakfast provide was lovely, the restaurant (also restored by new owners) was fabulous, the grounds are impeccable, friendly staff…I can’t say enough.

I can’t really think of anything, but there are no elevators (at least in the main building in which I stayed) so that may be a concern for some people.

This is a lovely location with kind and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and extremely well-appointed and comfortable rooms. We loved sitting on the porch in the quiet. It's worth noting that the hotel has quite a lot of live music, usually during the day and early evening (over by 9 PMish), and it's quite audible from the rooms. Perfect if you're into it, but a bit tiring if you were hoping for more peace and quiet!

I was amazed by this place. It has style! I spend much time just taking pictures of detailed interior and exterior. The awesome pool and the saloon on the property covered all our needs - fun for kids and good food and drinks for parents. Our room had a living room and bedroom, which was so convenient for our group. Other guests were so great and said it was their regular place to stay.

great looking property. room was very comfortable and well furnished. live music and a garden dining area, what’s not to love. Nice and quiet once it was time for lights out. Breakfast was great, the croissants were on point! wish we had a few days to just relax there.

didn’t look like the outdoor shower at the pool was usable, I love using those whenever possible!

We enjoyed our one-night stay. The rooms are cozy and quiet, we could hear the mini fridge running but not the AC. Jazz music outside added to the atmosphere. We didn't try the pool, it was late and not too hot that we ended up chilling on the room's front balcony eating from the Blue Wing restaurant menu.

We enjoyed a lovely overnight stay at the Tallman Hotel. The King Suite was clean and very spacious. The balcony outside was a wonderful bonus, especially with a very fine band playing below until early evening. And it was a special treat to have dinner delivered to our room by the Blue Wing Saloon next door.

Best place on a three week trip on the West Coast. Had one of the old rooms in the main house and it was incredible!!! We were blown away by this hotel. The room was amazing, with a fantastic bathroom. Lovely pool and fantastic restaurant. Insane value for money.

Nothing.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels anyone can stay in. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished with delightful touches that make you feel the owners were thinking about a travellers comfort rather than just providing a nice room and a bed to sleep in.

Absolutely nothing.

The location was nice. The room (upstairs) was very nice and clean, with a coffee maker/coffee/cups, and two wine glasses for any wine you may BRING, as well as the hair dryer in the bathroom. The bedding appeared very clean, and was very comfortable. The staff was helpful.

The included "breakfast" was fine if you're NOT a breakfast eater. If you're used to a "real" breakfast, you'll need to find a restaurant for your morning meal. I found the toilet paper in the room (single ply) woefully inadequate and was surprised that such a nice resort would skimp on something like toilet paper.
