Loved the blackout shades the room had, keeps the room DARK. Definitely a plus that I haven’t seen at other hotels (Best Western Plus and others) This is also the nicest Best Western Plus out of all the other ones I’ve stayed at throughout California, it was so modern and looked clean. There’s extra touches that I appreciated, such as outlets and USB ports, to charge your phone built into the lamps above the nightstands. The staff at the front desk was so nice, during the night and day shift. There’s also a nice coffee area in the lobby, as well as snacks to purchase with fair pricing. If there’s nothing that peaks your interest, there’s an AM PM gas station right next door. The parking lot is well lit and I felt “safe” leaving my car there.

Maybe clean the carpet in the rooms a bit more? If you don’t walk around in slippers your feet will turn a little dark, but that’s honestly a problem at most if not all hotels.

We twice a year have a automotive racing event. directly due east of Was co at Famoso Raceway Bakersfield...prior stays in Bakersfield a hotel district which is all the way on Southside of Bakersfield..very long drive from track to hotels.not good.Wasco eliminates this..very durect...

Beds were very comfortable, clean room and easy to ac unit and tv. Great selection of breakfast options and my son enjoyed the waffles.

The only thing I would add to your bathrooms is a vent for the heat from a shower or make it more easy to use it if it there.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The employee working the front desk carried by bags up stairs for me because the elevator was not working

Being stuck in the elevator for 15 min. No one responded to the alarm. Had to force open the door to get out. I requested a room on the 1st floor because I am handicapped but did not get it.

Everything was excellent..The reservation the staff polite and knowledgeable. We found more than expected.. Great service and location.I really recommend this hotel . Breakfast was so delicious and staff were on top of everything..

All was great no bad experience at all..

The spacious room. The decor. The cleanliness of the room. How close it was to our family. Staff was great. And didn't expect the breakfast that was good too.

There was nothing I did not like

It was a very good safe place to stay. The staff members were friendly and helpful in giving directions for me to find the other places I needed to go. The young lady even printed out a map giving directions to get to the other locations I needed to find. Another staff man Ernie helped with oral directions and giving us shortcuts.

The wifi access could be easier to use. I was not able to use my laptop. I read the paper directions and followed the agreement that was an online site. It did not work. I then was ready to rest and just put away the laptop.

Large rooms, clean, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Beds meh- not worst ever but not overly comfortable. Pool not heated and hot tub broken, big bummer with kids- especially in Wasco where there isn't much else to do.

Quiet location, spacious and comfortable rooms. Nice, polite staff. There was nice coffee pod machine. Fridge and microwave and good desk and wardrobe space. The blinds were blackout so we slept very soundly and I didn’t hear a sound!

The breakfast was not great and although very clean on the outside the AC unit needed it’s interior/filter to be cleaned as it had an odor.

It's the best hotel in the area

At any other hotel I enjoy taking the breakfast to my room but at this hotel you are not allowed to take the breakfast to your room
