Days Inn by Wyndham Alamosa

Exceptional clean. Older hotel, but one of the cleanest I have ever been in. We were very impressed. Staff was wonderful. Our daughter was car sick after the trip and really needed to lay down. The staff accommodated us even though it was early check in. They allowed us to stay in lobby while they got our room ready. While we were waiting I was impressed to see the staff working hard cleaning rooms. They were working so hard. They got us in a room early so she coughs lay down and they were so nice! Definitely would stay again. The breakfast was good. Nothing fancy but had several options. Great price, courteous staff, comfortable beds and linens. Overall quality and cleanliness was exceptional.

Wish there was a pool but no biggie. Air conditioner in room was loud but tolerable.

I liked the carpet in the room. The staff in the lobby were very nice. Of course, the price and cleanliness were very acceptable.

When we were getting ready for bed, we realized there were no cups in the room. I called and was told we would need to pick them up in the lobby. In the morning I went down and picked up cups and drinking glasses and a coffee maker. Then I had to figure out where to plug it in at. Not easy to do with no coffee first. I wish we would have been told at checkout. There were no lamps with ports to charge our electronics either.

The man who greeted us was pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The facilities were clean but a little dated.

The only way that we could get the A/C compressor to kick in without turning it down to 61. Check the freon in the air conditioners. The room didn't cool down to 61, but it was cool. The breakfast choices were not acceptable for someone who is diabetic. The walk-in handicap shower was too small. The hot water did not get very hot.

My partner and I stayed for one night, so we did not have a long experience with the hotel. However, the staff was nice, even though we barely interacted with them. The room was nice, but we did not stay for long. I can't say much good or bad since I had a limited experience, but overall it was simple and nice. I think its great for short stays.

Our experience was simple and good overall; however, the check out time is really early at 11 AM. Also, there was not many facilities available. No pool/hot tub, small breakfast, small dining area, tiny "exercise room", etc. I still recommend for short stays, but not longer ones.

We were well received by Irene and her team. The amenities were up to our expectations. Irene helped us with the administrative procedures for car rental. She took the time to help us and we are grateful. Thanks again (the Belgians)

The situation that brought us to Alamosa was very complicated and Irene and her team were great. So... No negative points to complain about. Thanks a lot for everyting you did fo us.

Easy to find, pet friendly, and a large comfortable room. Continental breakfast was good and the staff was attentive.

It's an older building, so soundproofing between floors is not great. We had a rambunctious group above us till about 11:30...but no fault of the motel. Chalk it up to that off chance that happens.

That the room was very affordable and the room was very clean and the bedding looked new, clean and was comfortable

The breakfast was ok. I would have like a toaster and bread to toast and a non dairy milk. I am both gluten free and dairy free due to allergies and the breakfast did not offer many alternatives

Breakfast was just right for us. Location of hotel is very convenient for accessing sights around Alamosa and beyond. Hotel is within walking distance of a nice city park and the town.

Sidewalk access to get from the hotel to the bridge over the river would be nice.

It was a great starter breakfast with juice, yogurt, coffee, and a small pastry. Cereals were also available and we took a fruit/nut bar for the road.

Since I'm a walker, a sidewalk or safer access to the nearby park would be nice.

There were no coffee pots, cups, or glasses in the room. Also, limited electric outlets for electronics. The motel advertised breakfast. it should have said very lean continental breakfast. Not much to choose from.
