Best Western Movie Manor

It's just such a cool concept. Get a room and watch a drive in movie from your bay window. It was an older motel but clean. There are two screens and the rooms face one of them, so if you book, you could be out of luck in that the movie you wanted to watch is on the other screen. If that is the case, they offer you a free pass to drive your car into the drive-in and see the movie like you regularly would. We were in luck, we had an awesome room and the movie was one we wanted to see. Staff is very friendly. Feels like a family owned business. They were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was a notch above what you'd normally expect from a place that includes breakfast. I thought it was very good.

What's not to like here. First run movie right out the window with sound in the room, comfortable beds, great views out the door, fantastic restaurant next door, super breakfast and prairie dogs! We really had fun at this cute motel. The views of the mountains to the west were amazing. The manager was wonderful and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. Everything worked in the room. We had a view of the main movie screen right out the window and a speaker inside the room that worked well. We chose to watch a movie at the drive in, but our car shut down the electronics to save the battery so we finished the movie in our room. The drive in requires you to tune in to a FM frequency for sound. Pro tip: bring a FM radio and save your car battery! Quite night due to the rooms being very quite. There was a good and tasty breakfast menu and the dining area was very clean and neat. There is also outside dining and the view is great. Bonus: the Mexican restaurant next door, Eduardo Mexican Grill, was very good. Their salsa was brilliant and we bought some for the road. My daughter will vouch for the queso! There is so much to like at the Movie Manor, you cannot go wrong. A very good memory for our family.

Water temp in the shower varied from time to time, but it kept us on our toes!

We got a kick out of seeing all the movie star names on the rooms and written in the sidewalk in front of the lobby, made a game of trying to name a movie they were all in. And watching a movie in the drive in just made our little min-vacation that much more memorable.

The sound in room during the movie did cut out a bit when there was a high action scene, but we were told that was just the nature of how it worked. Maybe someday technology will find a way to fix that minor issue.

I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast. It contained both hot and cold options. The view out of the windows was very beautiful when the morning sun hit the mountains.

The speaker in my room would fuzz out when there was a loud part. The speaker was a little hard to control regarding getting a comfortable setting. It would be too quiet then way too loud and then fuzz out.

The woman at the front desk was kind, helpful and friendly. The motel was in a farming area so really quiet with lots of green fields around and a spacious view of the mountains. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. A fun aspect is that the room’s window faced a drive-in movie screen and the sound is piped into the room if you want to watch. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The only thing I’d change would be for the head of the bed to line up better with the movie screen. I had to lean over towards the nightstand to be able to see the whole screen. But, all in all, a restful and enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was nice but biscuits and gravy were luck warm if that. The young lady at the desk was pleasant but confused about several questions we had. We waited and waited for the movie only to find out because of problems it didn’t start at 7 as was told but 9 pm. So missed the movie. Everything else was good.

Comfy beds and quiet.  The big bonus was the attached drive in movie theater is FREE for guests!  We saw Black Widow so you know these are current movies.  Air conditioning worked well. Would DEFINITELY stay again!!

Nothing right by it but we didn't mind that.  Due to the pandemic we aren't eating inside restaurants yet so we didn't try the continental breakfast. Pet fee was $20.  Would like to see that $10 instead.

The breakfast was your typical hotel hot breakfast. They have a waffle maker, biscuits and geavy, scrambled eggs, yogurts and some fresh fruit.

The movie speaker in our room kept cutting out.

A perfect setup! They are connected to a 2 screen drive in theatre. You can watch the drive in movie from your bed through the big picture windows or you can take your car and park in the lot like the old days with a speaker hanging in your window. What a great idea!! They offered a good healthy covid friendly breakfast. The receptionists were nice and friendly. A great end to our little road trip!!

Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff and the room was gorgeous and so clean!! The continental breakfast was the best one I have seen anywhere in years and we were very impressed!

Cannot think of a thing-we were very very happy and will use this motel for every trip we make to the area going forward!
