Retro motel that oozes vintage and homey vibes. looks well maintained and very clean! Location. Parking. Hot shower, AC, comfy bed and pillows, microwave. Owner was nice . Booked 30mins before arriving at the property as we needed rest from a 16hr drive and landlord was at the front desk to check us in past midnight. They provide their guests with simple breakfast like pastries, bread, boiled eggs etc. fenced outdoor pool.

Not the owners fault but it’s more likely on how the property was built- thin walls? I’m a light sleeper, banging of doors at 6am woke me up and we can hear conversations from the room next to ours and from outside .

A lot of quiet and privacy - just what I needed. Staff is super nice, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean and cute. I love some of the small touches, such as the real mugs for coffee (or tea in my case). Nice half size fridge is very functional. Internet has been strong and good. I do some online internet classes, so this is appreciated. As a solo traveler, I have felt safe and welcome.

I don't think there was much I did not like. I've been traveling and stayed in different places - honestly this one is the best yet. I guess the lighting could be a little better, but mostly everything is great.

It was an older hotel, but clean and comfortable. It had the most unusually low and small bathtub I'd ever seen. But the shower was nice and hot. I like that it had a pretty comfortable bed and little amenities like real mugs for coffee, and a little coffee maker It had a hair dryer which many don't now. Plus it had extra pillows. It had a strong internet which I used for an online zoom class I attend on Tuesdays. It was private, warm, comfortable and I rested really well. The staff that runs it are very kind and helpful as well.

I guess the only draw back for me was that I had a problem reaching the staff by phone. I just walked over and spoke with them then. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

This property is quaint and unique. The pool is lovely and the decor is homey and inviting. It is European style build, which makes it unique compared to other hotels. This is a family owned business. The owner was very friendly and helpful and was cleaning out rooms herself the next day. The price is extremely affordable! We loved it so much that Limon may be a place we return to stay in this hotel.

The doctor of the rooms is not new or modern but we did not mind this at all.

Dear Stella and Stan Flores, It’s Saturday night @ 11:15. We just checked in at 11:00. We walked in my 1st thought was “YES!” We travel often and 99% of the time we book through Booking.com. We spent time in Denver and didn’t like the exorbitant prices for well-known hotels. I think are gouging the patrons. This place, Safari Inn, is a hidden gem on Main Street in Limon, Colorado. It’s clean and well-maintained. TV operates well. And I want to commend the owners for having a clean place inside and out. Chester and Vera Zimmerman P.S. The bed was VERY comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely shower.

it is a bit off the freeway, but worth the detour.

This was a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay. The room was exceptionally clean, with even the walls showing care. That is sometime places often overlook, but I felt very comfortable staying here. The price can't be beat, given that it was a very nice place to stay. I especially liked that the freezer section of the fridge was very large - I was able to freeze water in my travel bottles for my cooler.

The room decor is a little dated, but it is an older place. I think the lower price more than makes up for that. Everything important worked well.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable, specially the pillows. The room was spacious and clean, the property has a swing set and a pool which we liked, the room had plenty of towels and a couple of extra pillows. It's a good one, I'd stay here again!

The breakfast is basic, not bad just basic, maybe adding some fruit would improve it, but it was ok: pastries, Peanut Butter and Jelly, orange juice and coffee.

Good value, pleasant staff and good breakfast. To be honest I only remember one thing (see below) and that does not reflect on the hotel nor staff, merely banks in the USA and owners.

The equipment/bank used to read my credit cards rejected English cards. Apparently some banks will reject cards from another state. This is not made general knowledge in other countries. I can only assume it is connected with bank fees and owners should ensure this will not happen to tourists. We were able to pay using a debit card but that incurred further costs for us.

A wonderful gem. Different and interesting. Professional and charming staff. Great playground for children. A refreshing change from boring, corporate hotels. Right across the street from convenience store.

The "Safari" name really attracted us to the hotel. It made it stand out from other hotels. Therefore, there should be more "Safari" imagery. Perhaps a plywood lion or dinosaur in the playground. Or pictures of animals in the rooms. Designate "The Lion Room". "The Elephant Room." Etc. That would make the hotel special and attract more visitors.

Liked the hardboiled eggs and coffee syrups. It showed the owner cared enough to go the extra step. She offered a lot in the small space she has available to work with.

Maybe some fruit and yogurt? It is hard to eat healthy on the road so we appreciate those healthy options. Also, maybe setting it up a little earlier. We were ready to pull out when it was finally set out.
