Niwot Inn & Spa

The Niwot Inn was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. It was enjoyable to be a ways out of a city in a tiny little village. The Inn itself was decorated beautifully with Southwestern style furniture to match the architecture, beautiful photos on the walls, and fine touches and Knick knacks that made it feel like you were visiting someone’s home. We were traveling with 4 adults, and they gave us adjoining rooms. The beds were very comfortable, the fireplace would be lovely on a chilly night, and the room has lots of places for luggage and seating. The bathroom had rock accents and fluffy white towels. The toiletries were high quality. There were lovely seating areas on the front porch and behind the building- and a jigsaw puzzle for guests to enjoy. Wi-Fi was very good and the network was secure. Breakfast was a light continental breakfast - frittata, granola, fruits and yogurts. Tea and coffee were available all the time. They set out cookies or Sweet Dreams teacups in the evenings. Very thoughtful touches!

We liked everything about the inn.

We thought that this was an amazing find! Wish we would have found it sooner. We stayed here prior to my sons graduation. It was a very easy drive to Boulder. The inn is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Upon arrival we had a glass of wine and a charcuterie board at no additional cost. I would have loved to have had a massage but out time was too short. The room was spacious and the beds super comfy. The bathroom was earthy and the toilet seats are heated. ABC store right across the street and lots of good restaurants minutes away. We ate at Gondelier- Italian. It was very good. Lovely stay. Thank you.

Very peaceful. Well maintained. Restful calm environment. Staff was amazing!!! The sheets were outstanding and the bed was comfortable. I would be more than happy to go back and stay on our next trip to Colorado. They have a lot of “small” touches that make you feel welcome. Wine/Cheese, Tea at bedtime, cookies, games. The Italian place next door is delicious. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Best sister trip we have taken!

The only thing was the variety at breakfast. It would be nice to have another hot item.

The Chimayo suite was roomy and beautifully decorated! The king bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the fresh fruit at breakfast and the variety of breakfast food options.

The Chimayo suite is located near the front of the inn and near the Niwot Road. We could hear the noise from the traffic on Niwot Road and so it wasn't a restful stay. The room does not have black out curtains so the early morning light does peak through the window blinds. The inn was completely full so there wasn't an opportunity to change rooms.

Checking in was ready Wann though we came in late. The plane is very quaint. Rooms are nicely appointed with fire place, refrigerator, and snacks for purchase. Nice that breakfast and happy hour is included (we were gone during the happy hours). The cookies were a really nice touch.

Room 11 was very hot when we arrived around midnight, which made it hard to get any sleep. AIR conditioner had a very hard time cooling this room during our 3 night stay. We had it on high and temp on the lowest setting. It was a little better for the rest of our stay. A tower fan in the room would really be helpful.

I prefer cotton sheets. Polyester makes me feel hot when sleeping. For a spa hotel natural fiber bedding is best. No movie channels -Netflix, Showtime, HBO 😕 again, for the price this should be offered. Nepresso coffee should be available all the time. If you are having a machine out for guests, make coffee available.

Very nice and welcoming staff that took us on a tour of the quaint facilities and walked us to our rooms. As nice as a bed and breakfast, but a little more private. Excellent decor and comfortable bed.

The pillow selection in our room, including the extra ones in the closet were limited and not that comfortable. Needed to have at least the option of a good feather /down option.

The property was very very clean, fantastic decor, convenient location. Very comfortable rooms/beds. Definitely needs coffee stations in the rooms, running down to get coffee every time was very inconvenient especially for early risers. The breakfasts were disappointing for the costs. Same cold veggie egg casserole that needed microwaved every morning, cereal , toast. The mixed fruits were good. Staff was fantastic and very accommodating.

Cutest little Inn in the cutest little town of Niwot outside of Boulder. Enjoyed the included breakfast each morning. More than just a continental breakfast. Close to the Shelby American Museum which we came to see. Comfortable room, nicely decorated. I loved the towels. I might have to find some like that somewhere. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was decent although we didn't eat much due to dietary restrictions but it was a nice spread. They did a wine and cheese tasting when we arrived which was nice, although we also don't drink so it was lost on us but would be a nice perk for those that like wine. The room was beautiful and cozy. My wife now wants a heated toilet seat. I don't know where this luxury has been my whole life. Overall nice calm get away place near Boulder.

The location isn't perfect. It is right next to a pizza shop that I think has a raccoon problem. We could hear them trying to break into the trash and setting off an alarm during the night. It was summer so we had the windows open and I assume that led to it being more noticeable if it had been winter and the windows were closed. Other than that the stay was amazing and the staff super friendly.
