Location: excellent! Not far from many hiking trails. Walking distance to river walk area, restaurants & grocery store. Short drive to downtown. Pet Policy: $150 for our dog to stay for the week. Grassy area for play. Room size: two-bed, two bath suite with full kitchen, dining area for six, living room and balcony. Nice and spacious. Flooring was wood laminate so no pet hair in carpet. Clean rooms and bathrooms.

A broom in the room would have been nice for our week long stay. I love that the picnic area is pet friendly, but there are no gabages to throw away pet waste, which led to dog doo around the grills and picnic tables. When I used the microwave, the fuze blew each time and had to be reset within the room. Our garbage and recycling filled up halfway through the week, and the recycling dumpster was locked, we had to bring our bin to the lobby.

The unit we stayed in was recently remodeled, and everything inside looked brand new. It's a good size, and we were pleasantly surprised with the bathroom, dining area and kitchen. It's essentially a 1-bedroom apartment with a comfy couch and full size dining table. The bed was comfortable and spacious. There are two window A/C units, one for the living/dining area and one in the bedroom. They kept the room comfortable and I like that you could set them up to run the fan continuously during sleep. The back patio area was nice to sit out on in the afternoon.

The living room only has windows that open to the common walkway, so unless you want folks looking in all the time, it's pretty dark inside. Just the nature of the building.

the rooms were incredibly spacious and beautifully remodeled. well-stocked kitchen as far as dishes/utensils. parking was easy. (know there was construction going on, but couldn’t ever hear it.) heard about the game room and saw the mini golf, but did not participate. nice features to have!

needed a counter or shelf of some sort in the bathroom… there was no where to put our things! a couple of times, someone was smoking marijuana outside and the smell filled the room (probably came in thru the A/C window units even though they were not turned on) and the outside and lobby looked a bit dated, but I appreciate that they are likely trying to update the rooms first and then the rest later.

The location was close to the Yampa Core Trail, so we were able to take our bikes out a few times. We had our dog with us and there was easy access to grass front and back. I liked the Legacy's policy on conservation of water and providing a container for recyclables.

The bathroom! No place to lay your toiletry cases out. Good shower. Nice clean towels

Nice, newly renovated rooms with full kitchen, free shuttle to hill, convenient location close to the mountain and the town. Nice bathrooms.

All 3 thermostats in our room showed 10 degrees low and ran the heat all the time making it to hot unless we turned the thermostats off. I told the front desk twice but no one came to see the problem. The shuttle going to the hill was no problem, but we had delays getting home every day. The first day we waited over 30 minutes. The 2nd day I tried to call and ended up in a queue for 30 minutes and never got through so we took the city bus. The 3rd day the phone was forwarded to Central reservations and they said they would send a message but it took overer 30 minutes and I had to call the front desk again.

We loved that we had 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms, totally met our needs. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable so we didn't sleep very well and the furniture in the living room was also hard and uncomfortable. Other than that, the place was clean and roomy and met our needs but we were glad we only had 2 nights to stay due to the beds.

great location and the ski shuttle is awesome for easy access to mountain. the updates are great and have really freshened it up!

they used to have coat hooks in the entryway and for a ski vacation location they really need that. sounds like a silly thing, but with 2 adults and 3 teens, coats, ski pants, helmets, etc were everywhere. they also used to have the same in the bedrooms. seems like a simple thing, but it makes a big difference!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lizamar checked us in and checked to see if we could get into our room before the stated time as we arrived early. The room was clean and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials for cooking a meal - which we did. The location was close to all areas of interest and there was a Safeway grocery right across the street. We enjoyed the hot tub in the morning before checkout. We will stay again when we are in Steamboat!

The suite was well appointed and recently remodeled. Loved having in room ac options. My husband and I were traveling from Texas and meeting up with family from Colorado. We tend to use AC and they don’t —- no one had to be miserable!!!

I think some of the improvements need to be reevaluated. The shower floor isn’t sloped so it doesn’t drain well. The king room door has like 3 inches between the door and the back door needs stripping.

Location was close to a lot of services. Room was newly remodeled and coffee provided was great. The shower was large and had good water pressure. TVs in the front room and bedroom had good service. Plenty of parking. Good back yard view from the bedroom.

Part of the hotel was under remodel. Didn't have a "Do not disturb sign" for the door, most likely due to remodel. Not a big deal. Still some distance from down town. About a 4 min drive, but didn't want to walk.
