To a person everyone was super helpful, responsive and kind. you felt like you were staying at a friend's house. their advice was on point about everything--where to eat, etc. free parking on site and available on the street the beds were extremely comfortable , wonderful crisp sheets and perfect weigh duvet can't beat the location if you have business in town or at the university

our restaurant breakfast was very expensive ( for what it was) and just not well prepared. Everything was overcooked, underseasoned and/or the quality of ingredients just didn't justify the price. we never went back. they might do better with a self serve buffet like a Hampton Inn abd/or include a modest buffet in the room rate. it felt like a rip off re: the overall price" the rooms are dated. the HVAC units are noisy and hard to regulate, they belong in a Holiday Inn. it just isn't the level of comfort you expect at the price point. also, Covid isn't over but other places have brought back daily housekeeping so why hasn't this property? seems like profit taking

The location in town was great for walking to shops, restaurants and just minutes from Wesleyan University. The staff we met were all super helpful and friendly.

Sadly due to COVID the restaurant has limited hours and was not open during our stay. It looked really nice and we would have definitely tried it. Also, regular hotel free parking was not conveniently adjacent to hotel but the staff were able to help guide us on using the nearby metered street parking to make it easy to get to our car when we wanted it.

The front is a very charming entrance

Walking to and from the hotel you encounter what appear to be homeless bums and junkies. They ask you for money and cigarettes. I wouldn’t feel comfortable alone or certainly not with my wife out by herself. Shame, it’s gone down hill in the past 5 years since I visited last.

The Inn at MIddletown exceeded our expectations. It has been renovated and rooms are pretty big and well equipped. Location is perfect, close to Wesleyan University and restaurants and shops.

The tavern closed too early, at 9.00 pm on a Saturday. Food was ok but not great. However, staff were super helpful and very nice. I will give it another try on my next trip!

The the most beautiful and amazing space. Very clean and friendly. I enjoyed my stay tremendously and the pool was never too busy and could be enjoyed in the most simple setting.

Comfortable, clean room, conveniently located on the Main Street in town. Free parking in back.

The hotel had the world's smallest towels. Seriously, they don't even wrap around a person. Also, the front desk staff were never actually at the front desk.

used this hotel bc of my sisters wedding and this was their designated hotel. friendly staff, great rooms, staff were easily accommodating us. Rooms are updated and clean. just overall a good place. restaurants are easily walkable

The front desk staff was not that friendly or welcoming. There was an older gentlemen who didn't even look up when we walked by...

Excellent, and accommodating staff. They went out of the way to make sure I had a quiet room, even with two wedding parties taking place that weekend. Lots of nearby restaurants that are walkable.
