Courtyard by Marriott New Haven Wallingford

They were very accommodating after a nearby Hilton Garden Inn gave away our confirmed room on Sat night. We booked last minute and arrived 20 min later. Even though there was a large group in the lounge after a wedding the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. They made sure to put us in a quiet part of the hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast option was an in lobby Starbucks which is pretty pricey.

I like the location of this hotel. It's literally in my old home town so I feel very connected to home and family. It's literally right off the highway so getting anywhere by highway is very easy. The hotel affords its guests privacy with the various ways of entering- you don't have to go through the main lobby to get to your room. It offers a breakfast for those who partake. I like the staff very much and the room attendants/housekeeping staff is excellent and will assist you with any request.

I would like to see a little bit more parking. I'm a 66 year old female who travels alone. When I come back to the hotel at night, most of the parking spaces are already taken forcing me to park a distance away from a convenient entrance. Even though the area is safe, it feels a little scary to be walking alone in a parking lot at night.

it’s convenient for us as to where we need to stay near family.

they don’t have food other than a few hours in the morning. No real restaurant. There should be. I felt bad when I saw several people show up in a weekday right after 9:30 and they couldn’t even get coffee because they have no help there after 9:30 am

Clean rooms, quiet. Restaurant only open for breakfast which was a bit pricey but Excellent. Bar had draft beer assortment along with bottled. Excellent martinis.

We stayed 2 nights Our room was not cleaned for the 2nd night. Mgr tried the covid excuse, NOT. Then the guests usually ask not to have room cleaned.......NOT They cleaned room Hint..... request it upon check in

Every staff member was not only courteous but actually helpful! Starbucks in the lobby for those who NEED that early morning.

Just a bit worn around the edges here and there (slightly worn lobby furniture, unstable sink faucet in room)

The bed and the room where clean and confort.

It is a good hotel for passing by.. I would not stay for several days My room was directly on parking and I believe the is the case for all ground floor rooms

The fact that it was clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating.

Not having being able to change from the 1st floor to the second to enjoy the balcony setting.

I believe you had to pay for breakfast but I wasn’t worried. It was clean and beautiful there I like the room it was very beautiful. I like the fact we were able to open our sliding door and sit out there.

The pool was close so it sucked a little but the fitness was open.

Efficient and friendly, sweet Paula at the front desk was a standout! This is our second stay at this facility in the past month. We returned not only because of the convenience but because of the great staff.

Bistro was great. Staff wonderful.

Only having Starbucks coffee in bistro. I saw another group of people come in with 2 boxes of DD Joe and boxes of donuts. I was surprised that the hotel room had very low toilets. Would like to see the higher ones
