Lovely motel right on sea front with an amazing sunset. Think we must have had an updated room as it was freshly painted and very clean. Bed linen was grey with a small pattern which looked good and was a change from the standard white. Towels were also coloured. Loved the murals which had been painted on the walls The staff were friendly and helpful. Had a lovely meal at Steamers which the motel recommended good size clean pool Can’t wait to go back

No doubt the pool furniture will be replaced in time as they are in the process of updating

The location and views were fantastic. Cute dogs hanging around. There was also plenty of parking and food nearby.

The A/C didn’t work and the windows could not be opened. Staff assured us it would be repaired in the morning and that they’d provide a portable unit in the meantime. They came through with neither the repair or the portable. Luckily, the second night was really cold. we left the patio door open until the insects became an issue.

Location is unbeatable. The lady at the reception was a little clumsy with handling everything, but you 'll start to love her bery quickly

On my road trip, i booked many hotels with a significant better price quality balance. It's all ok, basic and simple and clean. Could stl do for 20 doars less, bt location location location...

The motel was literally on seafront. Comfortable room, with lots of space, with balcony overlooking sea, (top right in picture room 203). Stunning sunsets on both nights we stayed. Best room in the hotel for views. Great pool, lovely and clean. Lots of swimming aids for non swimmers.

Nothing all great. Could do with a coat of paint but think it's post COVID trade is just picking up. So give them time.

The rooms were extremely clean..the staff was SO FRIENDLY and very helpful..the best part is they are extremely pet friendly and just all around nice people. I'd definitely recommend it over the other hotels..I've stayed at quite afew of them but always wind up coming back to beachfront.

That I couldn't stay longer! Of all the places I stay in cedar key..beachfront and cedar key now go hand in hand.i literally book my trips there around their availability.michelle and her staff are exceptional people.

Location and view are wonderful! We walked everywhere. The swimming pool was large, and a lot of fun. Nice deck overlooking the Gulf. And the bed was comfortable! We were rested in the morning.

The room we stayed in was fine and clean. I understand they are making updates to the motel and the room we stayed in could use some to the ceiling and door.

Breakfast was delicious at Annie's restaurant in cedar key

Our first room was on the second floor and the bed was not satisfactory it was hard and lumpy. We asked them to change our room and they did changes to him first floor room in the bed was much more comfortable. On the whole, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The whole motel was clean as a whistle and we never saw so much as one bug during our stay. Although this hotel is rated as a two star I would give it five stars for the way each guest is treated.

Location can't be beat: on a corner lot with water views on two sides

The unit we stayed in needs some work on the walls, ceiling and trim. Repainting and minor repairs would do the trick. The bedding and pillows could be updated as well. We still enjoyed our stay: the staff was friendly, the pool was immaculate, the location ideal.

rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious. good cold air conditioning. fun/friendly staff. great location (shops and restaurants are all within walking distance) one of the few hotels with a pool. will stay here again. .

our unit came with a kitchenette however they were no utensils, etc.

I had requested ground floor because I have difficulty climbing stairs. I was graciously accommodated. Also, the unit was only several steps from the parking for the room. The staff was helpful, friendly, and competent. The location is outstanding, with west-facing views where we watched sunsets over the water and bottle-nosed dolphins in the water!

The buildings are older, so some people may not be satisfied if they are expecting newer accommodations.
