A few steps out and you are right on the beach...room was extra clean...laid back area but not far from Clearwater and restaurants bed was comfy as well staff is nice

The motel seemed to be family owned and was neat and clean. The room was basic with a small kitchen area. It worked for our family of 4. Back porch was ocean view and steps from the beach. Furnishings were simple but nice. The motel was on the smallish side which is a bonus for us. There was a washer and dryer and vending machines on property. Beach was private and wasn’t crowded. There was a definite police presence in the area and I always felt very safe.

The pool was nice but closed early and after dinner is one of the best times to swim at the beach. Office closed early so you couldn’t get towels or ice or anything like that if you didn’t get them before closing time. There were no stores or restaurants or anything other than residences close. These things were only a short drive away though.

The beach was amazing! I love how they have a place for people to leave beach chairs/umbrellas/ toys/etc. For people to just use while there. That was great since we flew in and couldn't bring our own. They also offer a little library in the office if you need reading material for the beach, very cool!

The weekend staff in the office were RUDE! and not helpful regarding area attractions. We were curtly told the nearest trolley stop was "about 1/2 mile away" we started walking and my sister had heat exhaustion after 1.25 miles... AND NO TROLLEY STOP! Some kindness and actual information would've been nice! A guy in the office gave me a ten minute lecture on not taking my room key out of the sleeve because ONE of the 4 we had quit working. If I had known it was that big a deal I would've just put that one away for our stay.

This was our first stay at the property. As a frame of reference, we typically stay at a larger “corporate” rewards chain because of the business travel we do and the points accumulation. However, when we are traveling for leisure, we prefer smaller, quieter properties. We loved the location and quietness of the property. The efficiency kitchen was just the right size and equipped enough for two of us for five days/four nights. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and that’s saying a lot since we have an adjustable bed at home. The linens were clean, soft and comfortable. We loved that you could just leave your tied up trash and dirty towels outside your door in the morning and that they would take the trash and drop fresh towels. This eliminates staff in and out of your rooms while you’re not there. Loved the tiki huts & grills on the grounds and the extra “help yourself” area of beach chairs. We actually bought a boogie board & chair and left them there for someone else to enjoy since we flew in and out of Tampa.

The lobby was only open once when we stopped by for ice. I know this is probably the same issue lots of small businesses are having with being able to fully staff post pandemic. The rooms could definitely use a good renovation starting with the bathroom and kitchen. But this is not enough of a big deal to not stay here again. Our TV would turn on with the remote but you had to turn it off on the set itself…again, first world problems.

The location is superb! This is (I believe) the only hotel/motel in the beautiful Belleair Beach, three miles from busy Clearwater, but in the tranquility of the exclusive and private Belleair Beach. We had an excellent stay! The staff is very friendly. The BBQ area is very well provided with all the basics available, and super nice tiki tables. There are beach toys for the kids also available in both beach and pool area. There is a shower right before entering the beach area. I also loved that the tiles in the patio do not get hot, so you can walk barefoot without burning your feet, Thank you!!! Great experience overall!

Nothing really. There is limited parking, but that's understandable as this place is in the middle of a residential area, thus limiting the space. The parking is well organized, if you bring more than one car you can park in nearby (>1 mile away) public parking. Also, during Summer it is so hot outside that the AC and the ceiling fan are not enough to cool the room, and if you cook inside or turn the oven, it makes things worst. We were hot at points but nothing unbearable or that makes you uncomfortable. I might bring a fan next time if we come during the Summer.

I really loved the location. It was private, secluded in its own little spot right on the water. It's located right in between some residential condos so there wasn't a lot of people crowding the area. On Sunday at 11am there was 1 person walking the beach. It was February, though. The amenities were nice. The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get out of them! The room had a retro vibe but totally updated. I liked the furniture and how clean everything was. I am a germ-a-phobe that is attentive to every little annoying detail, and this place made me super happy. My husband and I stayed for our anniversary weekend, and we will definitely think about coming back for our future vacations.

Excellent service upon check-in. The room was clean, bed you can just melt in and got a beach front room for the first time in my life. Open the curtain to BEAUTY, walk out on the balcony and the view got even better! They had bins with sand toys for children to play with. I came from Pennsylvania and ended up with a flat tire from the drive down. AAA came to change it and maintenance from the Resort Hotel brought him a water immediately. Overall excellent experience, I ABSOLUTELY recommend and can't wait to come back again.

Wow, amazing location! Feet from the sand. I don't think I've ever stayed so close to the beach. And the beach is very nice! Not crowded at all, because there is no public access anywhere nearby and many luxury homes.

If I booked again, I would definitely get an upstairs room. We could hear our upstairs neighbors dragging furniture around late at night. It was incredibly loud. The rooms themselves are nothing special but they are fine! From the downstairs rooms, you also cannot see the ocean (though the advantage is that you can walk out your back door practically onto the beach).

Simple, low-key building layout. Room was clean and spacious. The kitchenette was useful for our family of four with two small kids. Easy access to the beach. Loved the tiki covered tables, which we used all three days for lunch. Pool was adequate and kept our kids happy at the end of each beach day. We really enjoyed our stay!

Minor nitpick - the weekend guests that set up shop on the beach brought a loud speaker to blast their music. Not really sure if the motel staff have any say in those things, but if so, recommend doing a little more policing of the beach to ensure guests aren’t unreasonably disturbing others. I don’t mind music at all, but there’s a line between listening enjoyment and downright disrespect for others.
