Hyatt Place Delray Beach

Excellent location. A few minute walk from Atlantic Ave where all the restaurant and bars and live entertainment are located. Breakfast included was good and having indoor parking was great (although additional cost of $24 a day)

Lobby and common area were too cold and breakfast was at 10AM for the first 6 days we were there then changed back to 9AM without warning so we missed breakfast that day. Hyatt should change breakfast till at least 10 AM permanently. Bathroom counter was small with a ledge behind that always got our stuff wet and faucet was too close to the sink wall to easily wash hands etc.

Location was great, near a lot of restaurants and shops, a couple blocks from the farmers market on Saturday. Rooftop pool and hot tub were well kept. Breakfast was very good.... food was always replenished. Lots of seating areas in lobby. Room was spacious.. We walked to the beach (1 mile or so) but got a free shuttle back to hotel. Free newspaper at front desk. Our daughter who lives there was able to park there free during the day to visit us.

We had to ask for our room to get made up at 5 pm one day. Another day I had to ask front desk to replenish some things in the room . Two days we had to ask them to get bartender during happy hour time. Coffee bar was not open, machine broken they said. If we had a car all night, it cost $24.

Free breakfast was offered (6:30-9:00 AM) every morning. The location is centrally located in the Arts District, and there are a plethora of art/historical museums and sights as well as endless places to eat and shop including the beach. The location is walking-friendly and it is highly recommended to just walk rather than driving. The hotel was fairly quiet and there was not a lot of people here.

Expect to pay for parking (around $25 a night). The breakfast is nothing crazy so don't expect waffle makers or salad bars or anything. Bring takeaway containers and stock up on free breakfast. Driving is difficult in the area.

Nice large clean room with comfy beds. Located in an area with many restaurants and shops. Parking is a bit on the expensive side, but the underground garage was much appreciated. Breakfast was ok, but unremarkable. The beach is not really close, but it's a nice walk to there. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night here, but would come again.

One of the elevators was not working during our stay and the one that did was overwhelmed by the amount of people that needed it. Therefore, it was taking long for the elevator to come each time and once in it, one could stop at all levels of the hotel before reaching their destination.

the breakfast was exactly the same item menu every single day. Also similar complains by other guests. The parking fee is too high $25/- plus tax daily after having to pay a high price for the the room. Don’t understand why this one housekeeping lady would knock on our door every morning for about 4-5 days around 8-9am while we were asleep and didn’t understand what she wants. We asked her what she want, she didn’t seem to understand English and was saying something we did not understand. It was really annoying! we told her not to knock on our door that early as we are still asleep. Not sure if she understood us.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Lots of cabinet/ closet space plus a desk with a chair, a good sized Sectional sofa, a refrigerator, and the king bed. Bathroom was large and well designed. The breakfast coffee was very good and even through the breakfast buffet was of the standard hotel variety, it was satisfactory and the staff did a great job replenishing the food and making sure it was hot. Nice decktop pool too!

The IPA on tap in the bar tasted pretty funky, and not in a good way.

The hotel was very good, quiet and cozy like the city. The location of the hotel is great, we were able to walk and explore all of downtown. The room is clean, cozy. We didn't use room service because we only stayed 3 nights. But what we saw was good. The staff very friendly and professional. The breakfast was excellent. We spent some wonderful days and we will definitely return !!!!

What we did not like was the parking fee. But this does not change the magnificent opinion we have of the hotel.

This hotel surprised me for the price bracket. Location, exceptional. In a lovely art district with loads of restaurants and one mile walk to the shore. Second floor pool that was actually a nice big size and lovely seating areas. Room was spacious. Staff were lovely. Parking was adequate for that area. It was just a more grand hotel than I expected for the price. Oh and breakfast was full of variety and consistent. Helpful staff too.

Parking could be cheaper. Especially when you're staying for more than two nights.

The location was EXCELLENT! Will stay here again for this reason alone You can walk to the beach you can walk up and down Atlantic Ave where all the action is you can walk out the door for very close restaurants if you don’t want to walk far you are in an artsy area too so perfect not loud parking while expensive was east and great too

The pool was not pretty not inviting small and on the floor overlooking parking just not good

the location - it’s 1 block away from all the action of downtown Delray, and very close to the beach too! The breakfast bar was very nice - clean, kept filled, nice offerings.

The person who checked us in was rude - literally handed me the key with no words. I had to ask “what is the room number? where is the elevator? where do I park?”. this did not start with a good impression of the hotel. The rooms have popcorn ceilings (which makes me question if they’ve been updated since the 1980s, the water in the toilet was yellow even after flushing.
