It was very clean and breakfast was really good 😊👍. And if you didn't have shaving cream they would give you a trial size can....

When I came in to check in, the hostess at the front desk was very snappy and rude to me ..The next day there were different hostess and they were very nice ..

Breakfast and location are good.

Check-in at 16:00 pm check-out at 11:00 am I did not like. Hours should be 14:00 check-in, 12:00 check-out.

It was very close to the beach , which was our purpose for the trip. The breakfast was very good each morning. Plenty of everything and fresh.

The first room they put us in, on late arrival had a horrible mattress with a gigantic dip/sink hole on the left side. My husband had to put a whole pillow in it and it still didn’t fill it. It was like a whole section of the mattress was gone. So a horrible night for him, as we had already unpacked everything . They switched us the next morning , but that mattress should have been thrown out a long time ago. We had to go to the cleaning staff to get fresh towels and they never cleaned out garbage from the room at all, so it was piled high in the cans when we left. For a $1300+ stay I would expect more from HIE.

The hotel was newly remolded. From checking in to checking out, everything was much more than we anticipated. It was very nicely decorated and clean. The smell of cookies baking greeted you when you checked in. They were available at the desk. Very nice detail was applied to all areas of the hotel. The bathroom had no fog mirrors! The rooms were so pretty. Each room has a thermostat that you can control. Beautifully decorated too. And the breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. Warm cinnamon rolls, cheese omelettes, pancakes, turkey, sausage gravy biscuits and my husband said it was the hottest coffee ever. My orange juice was the real deal! !Also the usual yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast, etc. We were so close to beautiful Destin Beach too. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff checking us in and out and the breakfast crew were delightful! I can't say enough about our stay. Thank you so much!

There wasn't a single thing that we were disappointed with!

the location, the room was spacious and had good pillows.

the breakfast could’ve been better. I know it’s pretty standard across all of your hotels but it could be better. also, the TV was a little difficult. when turning it on it didn’t show anything but date and time. you had to press buttons and power on and off again to get the screen to show.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was close to everything. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great, it was nice not to have to cook, or worry about breakfast. Our room was comfortable, and the pool was nice.

The pool was nice, but it would have been nice to have some lounge chairs at the pool, there were plenty of regular chairs and even a couple of tables.

The property is well maintained. Very clean ! The lady at the front desk was so nice. It’s Christmas Day and if she didn’t want to be here today it wasn’t noticeable. She greeted me with a smile, held a conversation, made eye contact and wished me a Merry Christmas. She made sure I was aware of the breakfast, location of elevators and how to work the bathroom faucet in the tub. Great customer service !

The only thing I didn’t like was the treadmill was not working and there wasn’t a sign on it.

Close to the beach and many restaurants, shopping within walking distance. Very good breakfast! The updates included some well thought out elements. Key/sunglasses, etc. shelving on the wall, close to the entry, soft and firm pillows, shampoo, conditioner in dispensers mounted on the tub wall, a bath mat.

No laundry facility, some of the front desk personnel were unfriendly, ice only on 1 floor.

The room was extremely clean and the location was perfect had a outback steak house in walking distance and the beach also was walking distance..... My wife most definitely loved the dove products they had in the bathroom....... This is where we will be staying ever ly time we come to Destin Florida....... One more thing the breakfast was delicious 😋
