The property was clean and had a young modern feel. The pool area was also very nice and relaxing.

I believe the property should offer adult swimming hours. The hotel gives off a young adult vibe and most of the guests seemed to fit that description, however there were some families with children. I think it would be nice for them to offer pool hours for adults only where they can relax without being splashed at by children.

The Tru was beautiful, clean, comfortable, accommodating. All staff was polite, patient, knowledgeable & met all needs. The breakfast and staff was the best I've experienced in past 10 years of travel. I've stayed frequently at the MARRIOTT in CA & it didn't compare to Tru* The referrals to shuttle services was a saving grace and of funds!! But this was Expensive, I'm a senior & veteran but the cost had to be met at this time, immediately*

Parking was very expensive and out of reach until after 6pm to 7. Therefore a no go! Maid service didn't show but with towels provided, showers were managed.

The room and breakfast

Parking is not free. Hotel offers a free parking but the place for parking does not belong to the hotel, that belongs to the city. The point is that, the parking space is free from 6 pm to 7 am,. After 7 am the parking is not free, and nobody explained to me that I had to go around 7 am and pay for the time I went to use the parking. The hotel told me that I had to go to the parking once I had to leave and at that moment pay the time I was parked. So, I did it, and as a surprise, I found a 40 dollars ticket in my car that an officer put me.and now I have to pay. I was to the front desk to the hotel, and the answer was "I sorry"

The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly. Check in was smooth and on site gated parking was a plus. Facilities like gyms and pool with open bar were a nice touch. The room I had a nice view over Ft. Lauderdale, the bed was comfy and ac was ice cold. Tv was huge and the ability to use the Hilton app to control the tv and lights through my phone was very convenient. I had very little to complain about this place was awesome.

The 24hr concession at Check in, some of the items were a little pricey, simple sandwich was like 14$. Another thing at no fault to them there was an area not to far was a place where theres a lot of poverty and homelessness is. I was kinda depressing to see every time you drive out of the parking lot and head near there. It did make me feel bad.

Stuff, complimentary water bottles and clean.

One room had a cockroach but on my phone call they moved me straight to another one. Also I booked one bed and got 2 bed room. The deposit was not stated anywhere even do it did not make a difference but would be nice to be aware of it.

I stayed there also a couple of weeks earlier and my review for this is the same. Great staff, very clean. BUT… only small point is agree on your room cleaning every 4th day but you need to tell people on checkin as we called up as room not cleaned, they advised of policy. asked for clean towels but they never arrived. :((

Advise of room cleaning policy, clearly. I agree room cleaning not needed each day, great idea, but you need to advise fully on checkin and if you advise towels are available, make sure they supply them. You will get so much better reviews, it’s a great concept that many people will like!!

Anne is always welcoming! She makes my stays feel like home. She is your Frontline. Today it is hard to find people who "sales " your agenda! I greeted and cared for like family when she and Michelle check me in. I feel that to set the pace of others on staff making this type of care the standard, perhaps you could reward these two with monetary expressions so that your team can see how to keep you name in an exceptional category. Because of this care, I still choice to stay with you no matter the pricing difference!!!!

The person with the parking passes should let everyone know that the elevators will allow you to go to the lobby desk without a key.

The guy that checked us in was super helpful, and recommended Here and now a couple on minutes walk from hotel to eat at. Good food and service, just what we needed after a 9 hour flight. Pool area was lovely, shame the bar area wasn't open the day we were there.

Didn't like the phone call from reception at 2:30am checking our names as they had a glitch on their computer. Don't know why it couldn't have waited until the morning. Also we had to evacuate from the 18th floor for a fire alarm, to learn at the lobby it was a test. They could have informed us of this when we checked in. Finally they took $50 from me for incidentals, which I still haven't been paid back over a week later. Be aware there are a few homeless people camped out by the train station, which you have to walk past to get to the eateries on the river.
