Room was clean, shower was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and easy to contact. There is a tv but you need to use your own logins to streaming services. Mini fridge and microwave was clean. I would definitely stay again.

Sometimes parking can be an issue, there restaurant is connected to the hotel and they share parking lots. We noticed it’s best to be before 7 or come back after 11. Checking in can be can be confusing, we couldn’t find our room and had asked the restaurant hostess for help, she was unsure and called housekeeping. Housekeeping did meet us and talked to us to make sure everything was okay, it’s not really a make or break issue since the room and vibe itself made up for that small issue. 🙂

The property was adorable! It was a historic building in downtown homestead and the architecture was so charming. There were also 2 cats that lived around the building that we got to see every night. Parking was always available in the back lot and the check in/check out system was very flexible and convenient for us.

There was only 1 entrance to the parking lot and if you missed your turn you had to make a lap around downtown homestead. It’s not a huge inconvenience but if you could mention in the check-in info which street to approach from and what side the parking lot is on that would make things a little easier.

I always try to get a room at the Hotel Redland whenever I am in the area. Unlike the corporate chain lodgings, it has a unique 1940's retro feel all its own. I feel like I am about to meet Bogie and Bacall in the hallway at any moment. And the City Hall Bistro & Martini Bar downstairs is a first rate dinner choice without having to leave the premises.

My only suggestion is to put the 1940's movie star photos back up in the second floor hallways. They really enhanced the retro atmosphere of the hotel.

Everyone was so warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The hotel staff, HOUSEKEEPING, the owners, and the managers were available all the time and answered. questions. Housekeeping was REALLY available 24 hours.

The steps were LOL and the restaurant was a little pricey, but the food WAS AMAZING and our server was very sweet and kind and told us the history of the hotel. And even though we were early for brunch because we were checking out at 10 a.m., they welcomed us minutes before the restaurant was open.

Independently owned, historic hotel. Great location for visiting Biscayne and Everglades National Parks. Very nice and receptive staff.

There is a bistro and bar on the first floor of the hotel. The first night of our 4-day stay, there was a wedding reception that was extremely loud and the noise didn’t stop until 1:30am. Quiet otherwise.

For anyone travelling to the Keys, this hotel is the best place to stay the night before heading south. Easy to get to easy to find your way out of Homestead. Great food, fantastic staff, highly recommend this family run establishment!

Personally, I couldnt think of anything more that I could have wanted for the pricepoint. Definitely would book again!

The beds were nice and the housekeeper is always great!

The restaurant prices are very high. The food is great though. And apparently the room menus were outdated and I had to show the cashier; fortunately the manager of the restaurant was kind and honored the menu from my room. (Which was only right).

Comfortable bed, big room, descent hotel

Loud music until 23h, products for personal hygiene not enough and very low quality, coffee machine in the bathroom and TV in the wardrobe.
