Location was outstanding. The staff was very attentive and the Manager Rod is very active and involved. Dan the concierge was terrific setting things up and check in was a breeze with Kim. What is really nice is your resort fee includes valet parking and water in the rooms as well as beach towels, lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach and digging toys for the kids to make sand castles

Minor details in this older hotel that was previously Renovated but repairs were taken care of swiftly.

Very clean property inside and out.

Very slow, poor service in an empty restaurant for dinner. 45 minutes to get crab cakes & a salad, would not refill water glasses, despite walking by numerous times. Staff needs training. Outdoor pool area staff was MIA…would disappear for an hour at a time. Didn’t circulate enough, inattentive & very slow to even acknowledge your presence. Food in both locations were ok, not great, not bad, just ok but definitely overpriced.

It was a quick in and out after a concert. We ended up extending our stay a bit to enjoy the beach. We saw a manatee and a pod of Dolphins which was cool. We ate breakfast overlooking the pool and beach and it was very reasonable and great food. We used some beach chairs and they had staff at the beach to take care you you as well. If we are in the area again we will for sure book again.

I can't say this was bad as they were completely booked the next day but we asked for an late check out as we got in at 1am the morning before and they gave it to us but charge use $50 for the 2 hours.

We had an awesome room on the fourth floor with a view of the pool and partial view of the gulf,the sunset was perfectly framed between two palm trees every single night we were there, and we saw the green flash two nights! The pool is very big although there were a lot of very small children and it was actually closed for a few hours due to “code Brown” because a small child pooped in the pool. But the beach is very close and very inviting!

The only suggestion I would have for this property is to have an adult pool

We chose a superior room with a sea view. The room was large and comfortable. On the first day after a long drive we didn't feel like going out so we ordered room service and ate on the balcony watching the sun set. We didn't use the pool but sitting on the balcony with the sea breeze was very relaxing.

We went out on Wednesday morning and our room wasn't made up when we returned. It's always awkward when the maid tidies the room when you are in it.

Service everywhere in the hotel was outstanding!

I didn't like that when we booked our room through booking.com, it made it seem like we were getting a full ocean view room, but the hotel said they don't even put their full ocean view rooms on booking.com, so we only got a partial ocean view. I feel like that was VERY misleading and would not have booked the room if I had known that. I expressed my concerns to the hotel and they stated that they really had no control over that. I was not happy with that. However, the room we had was beautiful and the hotel itself was fantastic, but booking.com is apparently very deceiving.

The staff was all very friendly. We enjoyed the beach, pool and restaurant while we were there. We didn’t meet one unfriendly staff member. Dominic at the beach was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him.

I wish the restaurant at the pool had longer hours. I would have liked some of the sandwich selections for dinner rather than the full plates at the restaurant. Also I wish the coffee in the lobby would have been available at 6:30.

Loved the location and proximity to the beach. The pool is very nice too with lots of chairs available. The staff was incredible! Very friendly and helpful.

We booked 5 nights and noticed several rooms poolside were empty. Wonder why we were on the backside of the building? Our room was beautiful but the plug in the bathroom did not work. Workout room had very dated equipment. Poolside food and drinks seemed high considering we were already paying a daily resort fee.

The staff on reception gave us incorrect information about availability of Ubers. They directed us to a restaurant 1.2 miles walk away which turned out to be closed on a Sunday, our arrival evening and we wanted to eat out. I didn't like that my card was charged for food/drinks at the pool, that I had a deposit charged at check in and when questioning the charges on my card was told 'they will drop off in 8-10 days'.....not good.

Location was GREAT. never ate the breakfast LOVED THIS PLACE!! Will be back

The pool water was like bath water. I know temps were scorching hot during my stay but I ve stayed other hotels during the heat who seem to keep pool water cold and refreshing. Other than that Zota Beach Resort was TOP NOTCH!
