I had a fantastic time here, staying in an 8-bed mixed dorm. I was actually able to sleep and it was not too loud at night. The hostel is very charming, the rooms and bathroom are clean and get cleaned every day. You can get towels for bath and beach every day. Every bed has an usb plug. The staff was always helpful and nice. It is a great place if you want to meet people, either on one of the bars or during one of the daily activities, like beach volleyball, dancing, painting or partying. Totally recommendable for solo travelers but they also have private rooms. It is super close to the beach, bars, restaurants etc. Again, I had a great time and it was absolutely worth the money. I also enjoyed the pool bar which is cheaper for hostel guests.

Only one shower for 8 people sometimes leads to waiting times. The lockers are a bit unfortunately positioned, right under the beds. Would be nice if there were some open shelves for low value stuff, so you don't have to crawl to your locker every morning and evening. Bring a lock with you!

The bed was so comfortable even with jet lag I slept really well. I was expecting it to be loud and didn't find it loud at all slept fine. Lockers are well set up. There's a lift (elevator) so fine for luggage. Location is insanely good. Few minutes walk to the beach, loads of food and drink options close by. Staff really helpful. Cheap drinks in bar. Free coffee during the day and water all day and night. Towels provided for no money as long as you return them.

Only negative was that there was one bathroom to share within a ten bunk room. I think the property would benefit from just an option of some communal (corridor) use bathrooms/toilets at least. So that it you need the toilet you're not desperately queuing!

I was traveling alone for work and the people I met, staff and travelers alike were amazing! The hostel provides daily activities to do a a group to encourage mingling and it made my trip! My bunk was comfortable and private and there was very little waiting times for the rooms bathrooms as most people weren’t in the dorm room at the same time. Also the location cannot be beat! In the heart of south beach it is a walk across the street to south beach beach, and all of the hot spots on the south beach strip. What a great time, I highly recommend it and will be back!

Tho the staff was incredible wait times at the front desk could be quicker but this was a very minor inconvenience in comparison to how great the trip was.

I enjoyed the daily activities put together by the viajero that would bring together young solo travelers to meet/hangout. I also enjoyed how friendly all the employees were to the guests.

Some of the beach towels were very warn out/thin. I think it would be cool if there was an option to get beach chairs or beach chairs for rent with the viajero logo on it ✌🏻

I loved the location, perfect, near all the best places in SOBE, staff and management were amazing, Sheila and Laura I had to kiss them when I left, I highly recommend Viajero

no kitchen, only the fridge and a low power micro-wave are not enough for a Hostel guests need a proper kitchen, the hostel is very busy, could be difficult to keep a kitchen tidy and organized.

The best possible location in South Beach! A walk away from the hottest spots in Miami Beach. Super friendly staff. Bela, our activity leader, was amazing! The hostel organizes daily activities for the guests, in a way you’ll make friends from all over the world. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Also, my locker was big enough to store all of my luggage. You won’t regret staying in Viajero!

One of the top 3 hostels I've stayed at (I've stayed in more than 30, in Europe, Asia, North and South America). Truly excellent location, extremely clean and comfortable, friendly and efficient staff. Large and airy room; the bunk beds are sturdy and don't move at all when someone is getting on or off them, with curtains for privacy and large lockers (bring your own padlock) for storage. Large bathroom, shower with good water pressure and temperature. No noise in my part of the building, despite being located in an area with busy nightlife. Pool, terrace, library and lobby were really pleasant with fun, stylish décor. Delivers all the must-haves (for me, hygiene, safety and location) as well as a bit of glamour, and the lovely staff makes guests feel at home.

Two minor points: first, the pool area could use a restroom/changing room (the one in the hotel bar is kind of inconveniently located); second, by labelling the place as a hostel (even a "hybrid"), you really need to offer facilities for the storage and preparation, however minimal, of food (even if it's just small appliances, like a microwave, a sandwich maker, electric kettle etc). Above all, you need to provide either a minibar in the room or a communal fridge.

Excellent location, friendly staff, large room (I stayed in a 4-bed room), frequent housekeeping and well maintained. Additionally the place has at least 4 different bars that I found: A tiki-bar by the pools, a bar on the front terrace, a third bar inside, just to the left of the reception area and then there's the Swizzle Rum Bar, one of the best cocktail bars in Miami just down the starts from the lobby.

The air conditioner in the room was as loud as a jet engine. I was usually tired enough each night to sleep through it, but every time I'd wake up I'd think I'm on a plane. Although the food and drinks are good and the hostel offers 20% off meals for residents, I feel like the one time I dined there with a roommate we got overcharged and the guy serving us didn't offer any receipt. I was too tired to make a fuss over it, so we just decided to dine in other places in the next days.

Excellent 3 night stay - this hotel/hostel was everything I needed plus more. It's more of a hotel with a mix of shared rooms and private rooms as there's no kitchen area but seems like all of them in the area are like this so no problems. Still has a hostel vibe - easy to meet people in your room, at the reception area, pool area, or the bar. I ended up going along with their party bus and club package on the first night as I was going to go to the club anyway. Benji the barman was super friendly and welcoming. The club night consisted of a party of people (mostly not staying at the hostel) coming to the bar for 2 hours for an open bar then going in a party bus to either Story or LIV clubs. This worked fine for me and was a nice way to meet some people before going to the club. The hostel itself had loads of other stuff going on just for hostel guests although I didn't get round to trying any of these. Staff were friendly and helpful. They give towels for everything - showers / pool / beach so that was great - just need to return them each day. Lockers in the room require a padlock and work well. I stayed in a 4 person mixed which was nice as it was never too busy and the bathroom facilities were great and clean. Aircon in the room which we could adjust. It was loud but you get used to it - useful to mask people snoring. Location is spot on if you want to be in the action - 2 streets from Ocean Drive and South beach. Bike hire around the corner. Wifi worked for me really well in my room and at reception. USB socket by the bed and traditional wall sockets around the room.

Overall everything was perfect for me - I can't think of anything worth mentioning. Obviously this is Miami which really doesn't sleep, but that's part of the experience. Would stay here again for sure.

I and my friend stayed in a 4 mix dorm with a private bathroom. The bedroom was specious with a plenty of day light. Cleaned everyday by cleaning staff. Enough space to put your hand bag or backpack in the locker.

There were some gaps between the wall and the floor where unfortunately we could see some bugs coming out and I found one cockroach. I would suggest to disinfect room/s once a couple of times and fill in the gaps to avoid these type of situations. Also, the only thing bothered me was the sound of music from parties/events organized by hostel in the evening as I could hear it inside the room while sleeping.
