Location was great lots of stores n food in walking distance breakfast was ok until I found a cockroach on my breakfast tray in the room 😡

The cockroach really upset me probably never stay there again

The suite is neat, clean, cozy and comfy. I had a great trip and when there was a hiccup- I am glad I chose Ocean Reef, the staff has such a positive attitude. There are quite a bit of amenities that other places don't offer. Life happens to us all but their customer service is superior to none! There's a restaurant out front with smiling staff & great smelling food! You will be glad you stayed here.

Never leave your belongings out of eye sight when you're at the beach. I'd hate for this to happen to someone else. It was the first time it happened to me although I've been to SB year after year. What could've been a horrible experience was made bearable by the kind and empathetic staff at The Ocean Reef Suites. I pray they also have someone be as nice & helpful to them when needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Ocean Reef Suites hotel in Miami, and our experience was beyond our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist, who was extremely friendly and professional. What's more, we had the pleasant surprise of being upgraded, which was a particularly appreciated gesture and really marked our stay. Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring peaceful, restful nights after busy days exploring the city. The room facilities were just right for our needs, and the daily housekeeping was outstanding. The hotel's location is perfect for those who want to discover Miami without worrying about long commutes. Centrally located, it's close to all points of interest: within walking distance of the beaches, surrounded by numerous restaurants and stores, and very well served by public transport. This central location enabled us to make the most of our stay without wasting time traveling. We highly recommend the Ocean Reef Suites for its friendly staff, comfortable rooms and exceptional location. It's the ideal address for a successful stay in Miami, and we'll be sure to return the next time we visit! Thank you so much!

The only downside is that breakfast could be more varied. The offer is fairly basic, with little choice of fruit and dishes, and it remains the same every day. A little more variety and abundance would make the experience even more enjoyable.

Don't expect early checking as they don't have many rooms and remains busy. Approx 30min drive from airport Approx 20min drive from Port So budget 40USD in normal taxi ( pls negotiate) Incase want to go shopping, go to Dolphin mall ( 40min + , budget 60 to 70.USD on each side). Room have microwave, toaster, iron etc & one can buy basic food stuff from nearby., else lots of BF/Lunch/dinner options near by..under 50 to 100mtrs. They have big TV with lots of viewing options BF offered is simple but meaningful, we loved the simple offerings. I would love to be back here. 10/10 for my requirement/budget.

Beach Bench options don't come with umbrella ( thou didn't use it but thought of sharing this information)

It was a great location for the price! the beach is one block away n its just one block from ocean drive.

Anything u do or say can be heard from the other room next door had a guy come knock at my door because it was 1 am and i was having a normal conversation with my girlfriend. I called front desk and told them about how i didn’t appreciate n her response was not everyone comes here to party i can come down and get a refund. that was the only bad service i received when staying in south beach on soring break month yea i dont expect everyone asleep at 10pm even though it was just a casual conversation. felt bad not being able to speak in a room u paid for n being threatened to be kicked out in middle of night.

It was pretty big, it had everything necessary, it also was in the centre of south beach, so amazing location, there was good ac, they give you free hammocks with towels on the beach and they even kept our luggage while we were in New York, which was safe and sound. Basically we liked everything about it.

A bit of lack of variety at breakfast, even though it’s included

Breakfast includes bread, cream cheese, cornflakes, waffles and jam. You can take your tray and have breakfast in your room. Tea, coffee and water are available throughout the day. South Beach is a back street and close to everything.

Bed sheets and duvet covers were old and not very clean. The rooms are big but they look at the wall and are depressing. The air conditioning unit is as loud as a truck.

It’s a block from beach, clean rooms, free towels for beach. Two free reclining chairs each day at beach. You’ll need 22.50$ extra for an umbrella. Free breakfast and it’s a good one. Waffles and everything else. I highly recommend cigars shop for cappuccino ! It’s right out front. Even had those left handed cigarettes. If ya know what I mean hehe happening place. I’ll stay again. The niki shoes were actually cheaper then Ohio.

It’s not so much I don’t like the property. It’s parking. 25$ a day in garage or 30$maybe more in street hourly. I had my handicap placard so I parked free. Thing is there’s like 4 handicap spots in the town lol.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly Overall, it's a really good value place. Would definitely stay again.

I really have no complaints. It's a great location. When I stay in South Beach, I really don't need the Four Seasons.

The hotel itself is low key and has a relaxed vibe, which was perfect for a short stay beach vacation. The rooms were clean and comfortable, complimentary beach towels and beach chairs. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in a central location by the beach, which made it easy to explore the area and enjoy the beautiful Miami weather. Baggage storage after check out is available.

Bathroom was ok but the shower hot water takes some time to become hot.
