I liked that I was able to pull my vehicle up to the hotel off of the street. I liked that the check in staff were very informative about the hotels experiences and directions for and to everything. I liked the atmosphere of both restaurants and all lounge areas and that they were kept clean. I liked how accommodating the room was to my needs and comfortable the beds and towels were. I loved the bathroom shower, it was a very cool design. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There's a lot to like, good time, I'll be back. 👍

The pool at Taco Taco looked a bit cloudy so I stuck with the one at Maxine's. Also there were a bunch of these little tiny bugs barley visible crawling in the black table , I think the were coming from behind the TV? Not really a bother to the trip but could be an issue if goes unchecked. 👍

I had 12 hours layover in Miami and I wanted to rest a bit before my next flight. I decided to book a place where I could sleep, relax and eat well. I foung The Catalina and from the very beginning the service was really attentive, they allowed me to do an early check in (Thanks so much Cindy and Mariela) The room was neat and comfortable, I used the pool spaces to relax and rest. They are in different buildings but one beside the other, so it gets really easy to use their services.

The pool was not clean enough, but I understand because it was raining a lot the previous days. However, there should be taken into account.

The friendly staff, everyone was will to accommodate us. Chris at the bar was awesome he took care of us two of nights we were there. Overall it just felt like a warm inviting atmosphere. There are plenty of amenities within walking distance, especially the beach at 15th St.

I guess we are very used to having the room being cleaned every day so it was different just to have the towels changed and the trash taken out. However, if we needed the room cleaned they would have done it, as it says in one of the emails.

The location of the property was great !

We were planning to extend the stay by a night, we went and enquired, but the room was at a much higher rate so we decided to move out elsewhere. Due to this, we were slightly late in checking out, they had a security member who barged into the room and spoke to us very rudely, he literally abused us and threatened to throw our bags out! This wasn't an experience we were expecting! They said that the hotel staff tried to contact but in the couple of days we stayed there, we had already complained that the phone in the room was not working so we had no way of communicating. we had to literally go to the reception which was in another building! The security was incredibly rude and no one should have to end their trip on this note !

So I moved to this hotel after another had construction (both by the rooms and pool) so my standards weren't the highest but I loved this hotel. It saved my trip. They have two pools, one is on the roof so it get sun all day long, plus there is a spill over tanning area on the roof too in case the pool gets busy. The rooms are a decent size with good amenities, new bathrooms and cute design. I like that they had bars and restaurants on site. Good location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything you need really for a good price. I will mention that the hotel is divided between three adjacent buildings. It didn't bother me at all, but worth mentioning.

First the location "excellent" walking distance from Ocean Drive, beaches & sea, restaurants and shops... Catalina hotel was great for us the old art decor is nice and pleasant, the room are spacious and well decorated although soon the rooms will need some updating. The hotel has brilliant staff specially the receptionists very helpful in multi languages.

The hotel needs some updating specially the corridors, stairs carpets as well as the reception desk. The doors card system not working very well, apart from the above this hotel is great for a stay near Miami beach.

Fantastic location in the middle of South Miami Beach. The building has a nice restaurant next to it and feels very vibrant, just like the whole neighborhood. The room was spacious, modern, well-organized, and clean.

I slightly disliked the check-in experience. My flight was delayed, and the person at reception was not friendly because we arrived beyond a certain point of the night when the system classified us as no-shows.

The overall hotel atmosphere was great. We loved the location, customer service, and dining options at the hotel and nearby. The outdoor pool was a nice break after a day at the beach. We plan to go back! The shower was the best!!

We purchased a double full size bedroom and the beds were small. It's been a while since we slept in a full size. I suggest an upgrade to two queens or a king next time.

We were in the Taco Taco building. Big room, great bed, helpful staff, swimming pool was a relaxing, tranquil scene (but the reggaeton did go on and on a bit). Tacos/Nachos from downstairs were very good.

Sometimes the hot water took a long time to arrive. Turn on the water and be patient. Valet parking was an excellent service, but I didn't realize I would absolutely need it (South Beach parking is a monster!)... So remember to budget $43 more per day plus tips, if you have a car.

the Keyes didn’t work well and needed a curtain position to slide them through. I had to call front desk 3 times, but they were helpful and friendly. you can not leave your bags after you are checked out, but there is a bike store around the corner, where you can leave a bag for $6 per day ( front desk has Info)
