We purposely travel during the slower season and I liked that the hotel was quiet. I also liked hotel being very close to the beach. The breakfast's and dinner meals were excellent. Melania was our waitress for our breakfast's and she was awesome and also for Sunday dinner. She gave us ideas for shopping and where to view the sunsets. She deserves a raise. We arrived late on Sunday and she was very gracious with feeding us before they closed for dinner.

We paid extra for a balcony and were very disappointed with the location of the room because our balcony was too close to the construction going on every day all day at the building right next door to our balcony. Staff should not give guests rooms near construction. I ate most of my meals at the hotel and the dinner meals took so long to serve. I was usually the only one at dinner so was surprised it took such a long time to get my meals served. My last night there last Thursday, there was a African man who waited on me and he never checked on me once to see if I needed anything once he served me. I had to get up to find him when I needed anything.

The location was excellent for someone who needs peace and quiet in an upscale neighbourhood away from the tourist areas. The staff was excellent, very professional. The building is very old but has been successfully renovated in full compliance with its initial character so as to give off old school, retro Miami vibes. Provided that you go with that look and do not look for something ultra modern. Bed, towels excellent quality that one does not find in more expensive resorts. Nice view even from my room that faced Collins and the bay, I enjoyed the balcony a lot every night.

I wish pool and beach stayed open until sundown. I wish coffee in the room was better quality. I hated the carpet in room, it always is a bearer of dirt and bacteria… Why would you need a carpet in such a climate? I also did not like much the bathtub and shower combination, very difficult to keep clean.

Location is perfect - right by the beach with a very nice, big swimming pool. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and accommodating. It was very pleasant and relaxing to stay at a traditional hotel that doesn’t feel corporate and overcrowded.

Unfortunately, there is a big building under construction next door so during weekdays it was very noisy in the pool area. The noise wasn’t perceivable indoors or in the bedroom. The staff gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers to make up for it—they tried their best to make up for a situation that wasn’t their fault or could control, and we appreciated it. Hopefully it’ll be short lasting since it’s a nice play to stay.

Everyone loves their job, the staff are all friendly to each other and to the guests. The decor is clean and elegant and intimate and beautiful. The atmosphere is casual elegance and kindness. Couldnt be more pleased...i want to return even though i rarely get to Miami. Plus the room was pre-cooled, which was very welcoming. And the colors and bathroom were perfect.

The only change i would recommend is to add some lighting at the room door entrance and in the closets. Plus i would recommend a Concierge booklet in the room explaining the many hotel amenities and perimeter benefits... i missed some nice things because i didn't know about the hotel or area and needed to discover it in the few days i was here. I want to come back to this hotel with friends and family! I don't usually enjoy Florida this much. It was such a pleasant experience.

Breakfast was good and it was wonderful sitting outside and looking at the ocean!

We had reserved an oceanfront king room and got a room with 2 queen beds. Also, when they finally told us our room was ready, we went to the room only to find housekeeping still cleaning. They told us it would be 15 minutes. I went to the front desk to inform them and they apologized and said they would call us as soon as it was finished. We waited by the pool for another 45 minutes and I finally went back to the front desk as it was close to 4:30 now. They said they were just going to call us to let us know we could go to our room.

We have been coming here for years. It’s more a resort than a hotel. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. In todays world the cleaning service seems to now be “ service as needed”. That can prove to be annoying but doable. It’s close to stores and restaurants, but more importantly it has a large pool and is on the beach.

I ordered room service. A turkey club and Diet Coke cost almost $70. I should have asked the price for room service first, or better yet they should tell you.

We had a King corner room with great views. It was a spacious room , with a sofa, dresser, and nice-sized balcony. It also had a fridge and microwave. The pool is great-- large and we were able to swim laps even thought it's not necessarily designed for this. The views from the terrace restaurant and pool are great-- because it sits up higher than the beach (many hotels do not). We loved that we could walk out from the pool gate and onto the walking/running/bike path or onto the beach. The beach wasn't huge but it was very nice and they provide towels, umbrellas and chairs. This is a family-owned hotel and we have found that family-owned usually means really well run. We loved it and would definitely come back-- even though I paid more for this room than we would ever normally pay (Miami prices) -- it was worth it!

The beach was perfect as always - beautiful day, clean beach, clean hotel, clean room, clean bathrooms.

We always eat breakfast at Seaview. We always love it. Not this time. The eggs benedict had no Hollandaise sauce, the potatoes were gray and tasted funny, the eggs tasted bad - expired maybe? My daughter's French toast was okay - but we had to ask three times for Maple syrup - and we had to go get salt from an empty table ourselves since no one could bring us any. Booking said we would get a room upgrade. In over 5 stays here - we have never had this low a room.

Location really next to beach was amazing. You have to pay about car parking, but that also near to entrance, so that is great. Room was really sparkling clean and Concierce Mike make us feel confortable. Hotel have great beach and huge pool. ps. stuff also delivered micro-wave to our rooms, so we were able to have some own snacks food (instead to eat all the time heavy fast food).

It was too hot in Miami :). We had room in 1st flloor and seaview was limited, so try to ask bit higher floors.
