This appeared to be a fairly new hotel. Everything was very clean and organized. Breakfast was normal standard breakfast, some hot items (biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles) and cold cerals, bagels, toast, yogurt. Coffee/water/milk/orange and apple juice. So..it was good.

This hotel obviously books large groups of manual laborers; they were loud through to midnight. We could not sleep for the loud tvs, talking and laughing. It finally got quite about midnight. We saw a lot of workers the next morning at breakfast, so we assumed that the hotel had a lot of overnight worker groups.

What I didn’t like about your customer service ……… it sucks! The staff at the time I checked in was down right rude. She should be focusing one customer at a time instead of overlooking the first customer that was in front of her. Also, I was told that the phone doesn’t work something was wrong with it. When calling the hotel there is a voicemail that comes on about technical difficulties. I figured out for some reason the staff doesn’t like to answer the phone.

We did not make it down to eat breakfast. Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. I like that toilet and shower were separated by a door to sink area. There was a fan in the shower area so main room didn’t fill up with moisture. Shower head and water pressure very good! There were plenty of outlets and USB ports for electronic devices.

Not sure if other locations have a pool, but this property would be a great candidate for a pool.

I liked the location of the motel. The motel gave us a upgrade because of a glitch with the elevator. the bed was comfortable.

The jacuzzi had a musty, wet smell, and while I appreciated being moved to the first floor, the jacuzzi was definitely not used because we are 77 and 79. I was not about to climb those tile, steps and try to lower myself into that huge thing. The room was very dark. The bathroom was very, very cold. The room was boring looking, certainly not anything to write home about. Alll in all, it was a place to stay while away from home. no more, no less.

Staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The location of this hotel was perfect! Everything was so clean and well-kept! I will definitely be coming back again!

I didn’t like that the back door key entrance was not working. I would have to walk around to the front to get back in. But they fix that during my stay, so I have no complaints.

Didn't like that when we called main reservation number for Choice Hotels the price, they gave us did not match the price that came up at the actual hotel location. We asked to be connected directly to the hotel we were going to be staying at but the Choice Hotel rep insisted he had the best price they could offer, $194 before taxes and fees. Booking.com had at $191 total, so we went with them. When we got to the hotel, we were told the price was $161. We did not appreciate that the Choice Hotel rep did not offer best price.

Very clean hotel, awesome location just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and minutes from Walmart, Home Depot and a slew of fast food dining options. Parking is free, there's free breakfast and the staff are nice and friendly. This is a very decent hotel for the price, definitely one of the better hotels in the greater Blue Ridge area.

Breakfast won't wow you but I shouldn't complain since it's free. Thankfully there's a Waffle House nearby.

The elevator was broke. And the hotel didn't look booked. But they put us on the third floor. We had to lug all oyr stuff up three flights of stairs. And they didn't offee any kind of discount for their inconvenience. Then we were put right by the stairs so we heard everyone all night climbing up and down. It also wasn't convenient to the attraction we were going to. Too far away. Had i known this. I would of booked at another hotel. Its not close to the Railroad at all. You can not walk. You have to drive.

Very inviting and comfortable. Loved the Christmas decor. Maids seemed sweet and caring of their work. I think the location was good and the views were beautiful.

It was loud sometimes with kids and dogs barking. No fault of the hotel, of course. We had neighbors that were screaming at their children very early in the morning that woke us up. The person in charge of the breakfast didn't seem very friendly. Make sure you get there before 9:40 otherwise you may not get it.

We liked how clean the lobby and our room was. Allison at the front desk went out of her way to help us. She made us feel like VIPs. The beds and pillows were way comfortable!

They have a barn swallow problem in the entranceway. The birds nesting above made a mess below. While they cleaned it everyday , we still needed to dodge excrement to keep our shoes clean.
