The staff were very friendly. The room and beds were comfortable and clean. It was a nice stay and we would definitely go back!

We had a standard room in the main building instead of a separate cabin. We didn't have a thermostat in our room to adjust the temperature in our room ourselves resulting in it being too warm for our liking. We were told that the thermostat is in the "middle room upstairs" and the staff had to go adjust it anytime we got too hot and needed it lowered. The second morning, Sunday, there wasn't any hot water after a couple minutes and I had to take a cold shower.

Pretty, well-maintained property in a great location! We did not use the cute fire pit, but would have had we had the time! We did find time, however, to sit on the wooden swing and watch the sun go down. Staff was friendly and check-in and out was very quick and easy. Great place to unwind for a few days if you want access to great hiking nearby but still want to come back to a warm shower and comfortable bed. Only a few minutes into a quaint downtown area with food options.

If guests above you happen to be heavy footed, it’s extremely apparent from the lower rooms. (Though. we aware that it was beyond the control of the property and more about how polite other guests are!) The Nest monitor in the room was a bit bright and kept flashing every time the lights were turned off, so we ended up sleeping with the bathroom light on. Overall, not much to complain about!

Very clean and well maintained property. I stayed in the double queen which is quite roomy . The bedding was high quality with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on, which made for a very restful nights sleep! Bathroom was large with a separate soaking tub which was nice! It’s a unique and quiet location a short drive away from several of the local wineries which makes it a great place to stay if you’re coming to the area for wine tasting! Overall, it was well priced for the quality and I would definitely stay again! I never was able to find the climate control for my room,but there was a big ceiling fan that kept it cool all night. Plus side, it’s pet friendly and my dog loved it there! Only downside is there’s no breakfast included, and the parking lot is a bit far from the rooms, but that’s not enough to keep me from highly recommending this place!

The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable!!

I don’t think there was breakfast, but the Executive room (I think it was) was darling and super nice. I would have stayed longer if I had time, and the property is very cute and a perfect spot for a getaway.

For some reason myself nor my partner slept well the night we stayed, but we had been traveling for so long that I’m not sure if the factor was the bed or us. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Everyone sleeps different and you could sleep better than we did.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was large and had double sinks and a clawfoot tub. Very large closet. I liked that we had real glasses and coffee mugs. Had very nice cabins up the hill.

It was a hike from the parking lot to our room, up a hill Older people and disabled people will have trouble. The beds were too soft for my y, but that's just me. There was not a thermostat in our room. Only one thermostat for 3 rooms and it was in the middle room.

very comfortable and a nice get away from the city lights. beautiful views and plenty to do around the property and there’s so much to do nearby! the staff is nothing but genuine good people. We ran into car trouble and had to get towed home and they let us hang out in the lobby until the tow truck and our ride arrived to take us 3 hours back home! 11/10 will definitely be back and definitely recommend

I have zero complaints about this property or the people than run it. Everybody was so nice and accommodating

The grounds and area are beautiful and everything is kept properly groomed, landscaped & clean. The mountain scenery was beautiful and the change of seasons and fall leaves of color were gorgeous! I loved the fire-pit, the chairs and tables around the property where you can sit and enjoy the beauty. The privacy and quietness of the property was so welcoming when your enjoying the mountains away from the hustle & bustle of the world.

Being from Florida, not used to the steep driveway. Plus we we’re pulling a camper which made it harder to pull in and pull out. But that’s not any fault due to the property.

Barefoot Hills is a charming property with a nice blend of nature and amenities.

We had reservations to stay in the Sunrise container but when the host walked us out to the unit we discovered a few unexpected issues. She moved us to an upgraded unit since the problem was theirs. Her actions made the difference in an otherwise unpleasant situation and will bring us back to Barefoot Hills in the future.

Peaceful grounds. Very unique experience as we stayed in the Sunset room, which is a converted cargo bin! Very cute and comfy! Overall, enjoyed our one night stay and will likely return for longer stay and (different view) room again!

We’re over 60 and it’s a little hike from parking lot to room. Only complaint is when we arrived the porch was covered in leaves which we used the hand broom to sweep off. Also only one chair and it was torn. Staff quickly replaced with two chairs once made aware but could have checked when cleaned last. Also a consistent constant noise from the water pump (we’re guessing) through entire stay. Eventually got used to it but if light sleeper maybe an issue.
