Everything was great. This was a quick overnight trip for a concert that was in town.

We arrived a tad early to the hotel and was not really familiar with the area. I was hopeful that I may be able to go and set my things down and maybe explore the area until it was time to go to the concert. Instead, I was told I would be charged an additional $75 to do an early check-in. I am confident is it like that everywhere these days, but it was disappointing in these circumstances.

Location was perfect. Vey nice lobby with wonderful seating space. The breakfast was good. The bed was very comfortable. Great sun blocking shades in the room. Visiting family in the area so perfect spot in the rear/side of the hotel for them to pick us up daily for our daily jaunts out and around Decatur. Wonderful city!

The barn style sliding door to the bathroom wouldn't stay closed and kept rolling open. I did tell the front desk, but asked them to fix it after we left as I did not want to bother with maintenance in the room during our stay. Parking is not included and is a separate charge. $12 daily.

For urban setting, was quiet, possibly lower summer occupancy helped, nevertheless no adjacent room noises or sounds from corridor. Location with restaurant choices well within easy walking distance. Decatur is an appealing neighborhood.

A better effort might be demonstrated in breakfast presentation. Riding on short cuts employed for Covid times it's time to show some staff initiative, something fresh - no aged bananas, an inexpensive fruit. Egg pockets? Unimpressive 'rubbery'. Potato saute'd ? When, a carry over from yesterday? And so on. It's a $200 a night hotel

It was very helpful that there were free washers and dryers on every floor. We had a long trip with a wedding, so it was great to be able to do our laundry. The breakfast was good and the location was good.

The washer I used wasn't very clean ( a frontload type) with hair, change and slime in the gasket. I let the hotel know and they said they would have it cleaned regularly.

My room did not have a comfortable chair to sit in if I wanted to sit and read or watch tv. Room just had a computer chair and 2 stools against the wall. It needed an additonal comfortable chair.

Very clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. My room was nice, the beds were clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and there was a microwave in the room which was super convenient! breakfast was pretty standard and there was a cute little bar in the lobby. The staff was amazing! Corey at the front desk was very professional, informative, and patient! I really enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely recommend to a friend and I will use this hotel moving forward when I need to be in the area.

Did not partake in the breakfast. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. AC worked very well!

Connecting to Wifi was difficult. Front desk offered to help but only if I came down with my laptop which is ridiculous. I used my phone as a hotspot day1, 2nd day googled fixes on phone and was able to crack it. Not sure what less tech savvy guests do. Also paying extra for parking is a pet peeve of mine- I’m a guest for f sake!

Loved the pool and size of the room With the king bed.

A blackout curtain in room 225 might have been something someone might ha w really needed since you can see building lights even thriving the shade. I was traveling with my son who has celiac disease. A gluten free muffin or bread option in the am would have been amazing. Also needed more fruit at breakfast AND the eggs tasted very funny. Breakfast needs some help.

I skipped breakfast, but it looked really good! Everything was sparkling! The greeting on my tv was a very nice touch. I was in town for a wedding so the lighted bathroom mirror was perfect for getting glammed up. Your staff was so nice at check in and attentive after. They asked if I had a good time at the wedding and even complimented my dress. I wish I could have stayed longer! I didn’t get a chance to try the pool. That’s my only regret.
