La Quinta by Wyndham Macon West

We try to always stay at this LaQuinta as it is always clean and staff friendly. Breakfast is good. Food and shopping minutes from facility. Facility is pet friendly for those who travel with their furry friends. Right off 475 bypass so getting off/on is easy. Lighting in the parking lot is good so you feel your vehicle is safe.

I love people can bring their pets but this is the first time I seen that people did not pick up after their pet and there was walked in feces at the doors coming in/out of the hotel. People need to be thankful that a nice hotel as this LaQuinta, allows animals and should have enough common sense and courtesy to clean up after their pet.

We love to have a stopover in Macon and always try to use this facility. It offers the best accommodations, breakfast, cleanliness, friendly staff and safe parking. We have never had a bad experience at this LaQuinta. There is plenty of options of food within minutes of the hotel, plus other shopping needs. The staff is always friendly and professional. Rooms are very clean and the hot breakfast each morning is a plus. The facility is right off 475 bypass and is easy to get on/off. There are gas stations moments away from the hotel as well as a Walmart minutes behind the facility.

We have never had a bad experience at this LaQuinta.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were super clean and spacious. There is. Walmart practically behind the hotel and it is an easy trip to downtown Macon. Will definitely stay here again!

The location was fantastic. It was close to the interstate and close to a lot of great places to eat. The woman working the front desk was awesome! We had a problem with our room and she got us a new room and checked on us later to make sure things were ok. We grabbed a pizza and brought it back to the room and she let us know where to find plates and napkins without us asking.

Pet friendly hotel but no room options for people allergic to pets. I wouldn’t stay here again based on that but the place was great otherwise.

Good location with easy access to highway. Beds were comfortable. Pet friendly The staff was helpful solving the freezer problem in the room.

The freezer in the small refrigerator was full of frost leaving a round opening the size of a 12 ounce bottle of water. There were areas that needed better cleaning and damage to the bathroom door frame. Both were reported to the supervisor who noted them stating they would be addressed.

Breakfast fine, everything in room was clean and parking was great.

The hotel staff was not friendly at all. The second floor smelt like dog piss. I'm not against dogs however this was terrible smell. We didnt make a fuss about it. The TV was terrible, half the time it wouldnt change channels and it would go out then come back on. Defiantly needs looked into.

This was an unexpected stay. Our daughter windshield got busted on the highway. They was so nice and helpful. They extended our check out time to 1pm. The window was not finished being installed. It was to hot to have the grandbabys outside so they again allowed them to stay in there room until it was finished. They didn't have to do that. Went out of there way to help us out. We really appreciate everything.

Thr pool was to cold.

The staff was attentive and pleasant. The free breakfast met my expectations. Room and bathroom was clean. This hotel is probably the best of the bunch in this location.

I asked to check-in at noon, 3 hours prior to the appointed time of 3pm. However, I could not do so. The room door was propted open on my arrival. I inquired and they said it was done so in error and I should be fine.

Amy at the front desk was very helpful by suggesting bringFido - an app that helps you understand where you can lodge and dine if you are travelling with a dog. Comfortable. Breakfast and coffee was good. Pet fee is $25 - more reasonable than others.

Loud wall mount air conditioning. Not horrible - just don't love this type of a/c.

The breakfast was really good and more than we expected. The girl that checked us in late that night was super nice and helpful.

Only downfall was that our bath tub would back up during your shower and took a little bit to drain . If I was staying more than the one night I would have asked to be moved but otherwise room was comfortable.
