Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Savannah I-95 North

Good breakfast, ran out of coffee a few times, but overall good. Rooms were nice and clean. Generally quiet, aside from some kids and slammed doors, but that's not the hotel's fault. Good location as well right off the highway.

Hidden fees and charges! I booked with a rate that included taxes. Well, come checkout they don't hand anything to you anymore but instead email it after they've charged you. They add on random misc charges such as "credit card fee" (but yet they won't let you pay with cash...), additional room fees and taxes not listed on the initial booking. I was charged $40 more than what I booked for that included all those items, so now I have to fight to get some of that back (which we know I'll never see it). I don't like shady charges or just getting us there then adding all this stuff on our bill without our approval.

The comfort and cleanliness of the room and hotel is great. The staff took great care of the breakfast area, replenishing food and cleaning as people went about their way. The fitness center was amazing. It was large and had good machines. The bathroom was also designed well and very clean.

The pillows were a little squishy but not terrible. The price of the stay was a bit steep but it was Memorial Day weekend.

Nice location and easy access to the freeway. I found it clean and well kept. This is also a dog friendly hotel. The staff was very nice and friendly.

It's a little hidden and maybe a sign just past the Hampton pointing the way???? Maybe a first time traveler new to a first time traveler. There are about 5 hotels in that area so it can get a little confusing.

The location was pretty close to the airport. It was clean and had decent selection for breakfast. Pool was clean but small if there were a lot of other guests using it.

It was located 20+ minutes from downtown Savanna. Not much to do in the close vicinity of the hotel.

"ALL" staff exceptionally very pleasant and truly made you feel appreciated and welcomed! Our room was very clean and had a walk in shower. Beds comfortable also. Breakfast by far exceeded our expectations as we had been on the road 3 weeks. Most places had the usual cold bagels, muffins, juice, and coffee, But here, fresh warm scrambled eggs, bacon, hot oatmeal, waffles etc.

That we hadn't found this hotel on previous trips.

Relative new hotel

When booked through Booking.com, it assured (“no surprise”) a total price - 7% tax included but in reality, there is an additional 5% local tax which was NOT disclosed. So the total was at least $20 or so higher than booking.com’s total ….. not sure who was cheating - Marriott (for not disclosing) or booking.com (for not having complete info)

The property was pristine. The staff was engaging and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet.

there were not many restaurants within walking distance

Breakfast was amazing with many options. The staff at breakfast were friendly and responsive and promptly restocked any items.

The pool was a little small but it served good to allow our kids to get their energy out before going to bed.

Super clean, new, well appointed, comfy beds! Pet friendly, we were traveling with our two pups, they have a nice large grassy area for dogs. Right off 95, easy access to the Highway. They also offer a nice complimentary breakfast! We will definitely stay again!

We checked out early and I wanted a printed receipt. There was no bell or phone to call someone to the desk. I would still like a receipt showing the exact charge for the room sent to lmttgee@aol.com
