We love the room and the location and the cleanliness. It's perfect for our needs as we are traveling here from North Georgia at least once a month while my wifey is in Doctoral classes. I just feel comfortable letting her be here alone too.

The smoking of marijuana. The first floor stinks of it on the parking lot side. The door on this same side still doesn't have a card reader that works to let you in. Someone left a rock propping the door open saturday night and people not staying at this hotel were inside sing the bathroom. The people sleeping in the parking lot too. Something needs to be done.

The staff were friendly and took care to follow safety procedures. They never stated the number of my room or even the floor and instead indicated it on the key card pouch. This seems small, but for a solo female traveler it gives a lot of security especially if there are others in the lobby.

There was a door on the first floor to the parking lot that never locked. This allowed non-guests to potentially enter without passing the reception lobby. Potential security concern.

I stay here about once a month as a solo traveler and I always feel very safe! The property is clean and the beds are comfortable. The shower was especially nice on this trip, the water pressure was good and it looked like a new shower head and new(er) shower curtain so the spray was much nicer than on previous stays AND it stayed in the shower instead of dripping all over the floor. Win-Win!

There wasn't anything to not like on this trip. Everything went so smooth, and the room was nice. The only thing that ever bothers me here is getting in and out of the parking lot if traffic is backed up trying to turn onto Veteran's Memorial, but that has nothing to do with the hotel itself.

I have always had good stays here. I am in Statesboro once a month for classes and I ALWAYS book here. I feel safe as a solo traveler and the room is always very comfortable. The property is not top-of-the-line but it is FAR SUPERIOR to the other low-cost options I've tried in the area.

Sometimes trying to get into the lot after turning off of Veteran's Memorial is tricky but nothing a little patience can't handle. I haven't taken advantage of the free breakfast because it looked very unappealing the few times I've bothered, but that's normal for me regardless of location.

Clean and Comfortable. Excellent location. Wifey stayed here as she is a Hybrid Doctoral student at the GSU. GATA! She felt safe and that's a HUGE deal for me.

Can't say much of anything. The breakfast could have some better attention paid to it as some folks cleared out everything before 7am and there wasn't anything.

Beds Are VERY Comfy, and Breakfast Was Pretty Good! Room Was Fairly Clean, But I Get In Late, and Leave Early... Staff Is Friendly, and Most Accommodating!!

Pool is Not Ever Open, No Work-Out Room, and Certain Corridor Walls Are in Dire Need of Repair.. Carpet Needs to be Replaced for Hardwood Floors...

The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very nice. I loved how quiet the place was and the fact that it smelled very clean. You can't beat the price for the stay.

The only problem that I had was that the bathroom wasn't very clean. You could tell that it was cleaned but there was hair in the bathtub that didn't belong to me.

The Desk "Clerk" girl/woman was awesome .... kind, knowledgeable, helpful.....appeared to be there all the time I was there. Rooms were fine. I did not expect "fancy," since it was the least expensive hotel that I found in the area, and that is what I needed. It was quiet, and I felt safe, comfortable, and rested. Just stayed one night, as I was in town for a funeral.

My family had stayed at the location in previous years (as it was another brand hotel at that time), so I was a little disappointed in the looks of the facility...painted in rather bold colors, I'm assuming for Georgia Southern students and their families. Parts of facility appeared to be needing painting, or maybe in process (I could not tell). Due to Covid safety protocols, only received a brown bag breakfast, but I understood that. Also, the "fun little indoor heated pool" that my kids had enjoyed when they were little, was not available (again due to Covid restrictions). But, it looked the same, nothing fancy, but clean and neat. Would be so enjoyable during the winter months and also for older folks (like me) that needed an arthritic swim time!

Read so much online about this hotel being dirty and wasn't up to par. My experience was that none of that is true. Is it the Ritz Carlton no, it's an older hotel that has older fixtures etc but everything is clean and perfectly fine to stay at with your family. Super close to the football stadium for a game which is a great bonus!!! Don't hesitate to stay here.

The location of the property was very convenient. I must admit I have stayed at this location previously and it was very nice, clean and the upkeep was outstanding. This time there was some mold in the room in the bathroom. It was okay for 1 night and what we needed it for game purposes.
