Holiday Inn Statesboro-University Area, an IHG Hotel

it in a good location it appeared clean

the sheets on one of the beds didn’t look clean and the mold in the shower Booking.com had it over priced we got better price from the hotel direct I will be calling hotels from now on

We had traveled all day. Weather was bad. Hotel was close to where we ate and looked like a good place to stay.

When we booked the hotel it stated free continental breakfast. The buffet requires a voucher to eat. So we asked the front desk associate for the vouchers. We ate and I checked out at front desk and got a printed company of my bill. When I looked at my bank account it was charged 20.00 more than my printed receipt. Not sure what the extra charge was for unless it was the breakfast that was supposed to be free??

Location and facility

Upon check-in the front desk representative acted as if she didn’t want to be bothered or overall agitated. When I asked a question about the restaurant on-site, being that I never stayed there before, the response was as if I should’ve already known and was an open-ended dumb question.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. Easy to get to. The breakfast was hot and the restaurant was clean and the staff friendly and responsive.

The breakfast was hot and fresh but lacked flavor and variety. Adding spices for patrons to be able to season otherwise bland eggs would have been nice.

Convenient, very good amenities, room was very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. Liked that there was a restaurant on location.

Minor things- dispenser for hand soap was empty, could not turn on or off the tv from the remote, ac only had one speed,high no low

The location was great. The breakfast was good . The pool was nice. It was very clean.Most of the staff was excellent.

There was a front desk girlwho was very rude .Need's to be more customer friendly. Made us feel small.

The check in time was 3pm which was a little too late for us so i called two days before we arrived to see if we could check in eariler and was told to call back the morning check in which i did but couldnt get a definate answer. I felt like we got the run around on that request.

The location was great, shopping and eating places were close by

Front desk staff ( day and evening staff) can use better customer service training, they were very rude. One name was Kiambrea. The general manager was there at the front desk, not one time did she intervene to correct the problem I had. We had to pay for breakfast, young lady said it was not in my package deal. Of all my years traveling and staying at Holiday Inn, this location staff was the worst.

The facility had good housekeeping with very friendly staff who were always ready to assist in everyday regardless of how late the time is. The facility was very spacious and felt like an apartment. The closeness to the university area and nearness to almost all the basic service areas was very profitable.

The property had no flaws and my guarantee to the lovely staff was that I will always come back because I felt at peace with everyone and everything

The location the staff was bery friendly and it was very clean and welcoming...

I didn't like that I couldn't use the stairs but thats because im scared of elevators lol but I understand there reasoning 😊
