Seaport Inn & Suites

It was exactly what we needed. We are a family of four and were attending a swim meet nearby on a tight budget. The room was large and clean and very well equipped. In addition to the usual, there was a full sized fridge/freezer and counter/cabinet with a washing up sink. There was also a decent sized microwave. We were able to make breakfasts and lunches for the family. An added bonus was being allowed to use the hot tub at the sister hotel, Hells Canyon Grand. Air conditioner in the room worked well and we got the room nice and warm. If this is still available at such a reasonable price again next year, we will certainly stay here again.

It was a little strange not having any staff at the front desk, but it was made clear that help could be found at the sister hotel over the car park, so it wasn’t really a problem.

For the price I paid, I was not expecting such spacious conditions. It is a small apartment, with the bonus of having two beds, a full-sized fridge, a small kitchen, and an excellent bath/toilet.

There's no staff onsite, so you have to walk across the parking lot to the main hotel if you have any problems or questions. The lack of staff also contributes to a sense of insecurity.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The receptionist was very friendly at check in, the room was rather large, and we had a mini kitchen as well! The beds were also comfy and the bedding had a bleach smell which was comforting.

While most of the room met my cleanliness expectations, the white shower curtain was incredibly dirty! It had dirt fingerprints on the edges and the bottom was very brown. There was also a musty smell in the hallways.

The shower has a very low step—about 1 inch high. Not a roll-in, but close. Shower was a bit tight for large my 300 lb MiL, but fine for me at 185lbs. The built in seat was convenient though, again, a bit small for larger people. We really liked that the room was large, had all kinds of space! The bonus of having a full fridge with freezer was awesome. Lots of drawers and a few utensils and plate/bowl/mug. Separate hand washing sink from the food sink. Really nice recliner and lots of lamps.

Curtains didn’t quite close all the way; unfortunate for a ground floor room. Trip to the dollar tree fixed it with a claw clip. Would be nice to have a bit more leeway on room cards for checkout. I was almost done packing car at 11:13, with checkout at 11, and got locked out of the building. Luckily, someone exited and I could go back in without having to walk to the main hotel for help.

Since the Seaport Inn & Suites did not have our room ready at the appropriate time, they put us in their sister property The Grand Hotel. So my review is actually for The Grand. We appreciated the "upgrade" or what looked like an upgrade, which was within walking distance to the Seaport. Our room was exactly what we requested at the Seaport and the breakfast was included. Very comfortable room.

Our room was right across from the elevator. There was a college baseball tournament being played near by and a couple of the teams were staying at this property. They were quite loud between the hours of midnight and 2:30 am. Loud enough to wake us. Not cool! It happened 3 different times, so perhaps they could have posted security near the elevator to prevent that from happening. For the future!

Everything was close to perfect. Only thing that didn’t look too good was the Entrance awning to the main entrance of the Sea Port. My only complaint is that part was very unwelcoming. Other then that our stay was perfect. Was quiet, comfortable beds, large space and just well overall cozy.

Everything! this charming hotel is exceptional at a fair price. we are looking into booking another day bc this is very much & more what my daughter & I were hoping to find when we started our hotel stay search. thanks Seaport crew for a beautiful comfort & thanks booking.com for the recommendation 😊 xoxo V+Emily

no breakfast sucked! But the beds were super comfortable and there was more then enough room.

Staff from the sister hotel were extremely rude even just checking in. Pool access was sketchy we should have just been able to use the siter hotel pool.

the towels, sheets, pillowslips and curtains were frayed and threadbare. the tv remote wasn’t 100%. we never saw any staff person. The building didn’t seem secure. Nobody was around to ask questions of. I needed another shampoo but there wasn’t anyone to ask.

Everything... We didn’t need disability showers so they switched us. Wasn’t going to take room with disability access just in case someone in need, needed it. I absolutely love and would stay again, in a heartbeat. I understand during the Covid and what not about not having a receptionist at the desk in the sea port but I think it would take a lot of weight off the Canyon. Plus I could fill that position. And I’ll just leave it at that.
