Hampton Inn & Suites Effingham has no competition! The hotel is amazing. It is clean and very welcoming. Sarah took care of my check-in. Immediately, she welcomed me with a beautiful smile. Checking in didn't take long at all, and even had a great conversation. The room was clean, and I mean clean!! From now on I will be using Hamptom Inn wetever I go!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was warm and plentiful. The hotel and our room was beautiful and very clean. I would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone I know traveling to that area.

There was really nothing to not like. The view out the window was not great but most hotels near highways don't have great views. They did not have peanut butter with the breakfast and would have liked to have that on my bagel. ;0)

The studio room with two queen beds was well worth the little extra money. It had enough room that we could all spread out and walk around without tripping over each other. Breakfast had a number of choices, and trays to help carry it to your room.

A little short staffed the night i stayed. It wasn't really a problem to wait five minutes to check in, but there was no sign saying they'd be right back, so i did start to wonder what had happened.

Staff is exceptionally friendly. Very clean. Great location. Appreciate the breakfast. Not unique, but great selection and quality. Stayed with Hampton Inn for business regularly in the past and have always had a great, consistent, experience.

Oddly enough, the thermostat wouldn’t turn the air conditioner off (early July visit), so the room was plenty cool. Not an issue, just an observation.

Our room was just perfect for our needs. The set up in the bathroom with plenty of towels and other necessities was very welcoming. Cheyenne greeted us on arrival and was very helpful. I had the opportunity to interact with the desk clerk on all three shifts. All were helpful and I sure wish I could remember the other two clerks by name because they all made our stay amazing! way to go staff!

Breakfast was awesome--the food was hot and different each day. The eating area was clean and the workers were available for assistance.

Maybe have creamed chipped beef on toast? Or have hash browns some time

The staff at the Hampton Inn in Effingham was great. My husband forgot his kindle when we left. The person behind the desk, Jessica, the manager, and the housekeeping lady, Marylyn were beyond kind, and so very helpful. We live in Tn, and travel back to Ill quite a few times a year.....we always stay at the Hampton. Thank you all for your kindness, and really going out of your way to help us.

Spacious, microwave, refrigerator, work out room, indoor pool and Jacuzzi, breakfast, laundry room. Everything was clean, the staff was courteous. the location is right off the interstate and a Starbucks is almost in their parking lot. the beds were very comfortable.

Breakfast was good. An in-house spa would be great. A massage after traveling for hours would put the hotel a step above all of the others in the immediate area

Nothing stood out as bad - breakfast was good but did not stand out as anything better than the other hotels.

Shower could have been cleaner. The daylight bulbs in the lamps were awful. The soft white bulbs would give a much warmer/home-like look.
