Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Ottawa, an IHG Hotel

Everything was fab! Neat, clean, tasteful, modern, comfy. This hotel was an unexpected delight, esp. compared to some of the dated & frumpy places we have stayed in recently at great cost... The room was clean & comfortable, the linen, bed & bathroom all very good. The breakfast was simple, but excellent. The staff were amazing. Thank you.

The view was a bit disappointing. Was hoping to be able to see the river from the 3rd floor, but our room looked out over a parking lot.

The breakfast was good, location was great, pool was clean, had a good workout area although I didn’t use it. We stayed here to go to the starved rock state park and it was a fair location from there. Rooms are nice and big and the beds are very comfortable. My friend and I asked for a extra pillow and we were given two extra pillows. Tons of food options, grocery stores, gas stations and I-80 nearby. Hotel is in a great condition and I would come back here if I ever came to this state park!

There was some glumps of hair in the pool when we were in it on Saturday, but other than that everything was good about this trip.

Room was clean. This new Holiday Inn Express looks and feels very new. We were concerned that our car might get broken into, but nothing even remotely like that happened.

We miss the cinnamon rolls. Are those not a thing anymore at Holiday Inn Express? One of the cartons of chocolate milk we grabbed was four days expired! Room 417, specifically: there was a very strong perfumey smell. Are all of the rooms like that? Finally, the 24/7 fitness center was not open Monday (9/19/2022) morning.

Very helpful, friendly staff at reception on check-in. The rooms were much bigger than expected: very clean and comfortable with a good shower. Breakfast was well stocked and had plenty on offer; available very early too which was handy for us.

Near-perfect stay! The only thing I could mention to improve is the breakfast did not have much for vegans, it was fine for vegetarian options however.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is nice, too. Facility is brand new and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice stay!

We had some noisy neighbors! and the doors to the rooms make a lot of noise when closing them. Some of the breakfast items could've been set up better - like the omelettes were still frozen when put out!

They kept getting my reservations wrong even though I physically went to the hotel to make them. When booking online they said I booked 2 rooms. This happened more than once. When booking through a third party site they attempted to charge me twice By using an old card they had on file

Besides easy access to interstate 80, this hotel was great all the way around. From the well-lighted and clean exterior, to the professional and friendly front desk personnel (Carter and Shiloh), to the beautifully appointed and cozy rooms, this hotel is definitely one I would stay at again. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. The selection was great. They had something for everyone.

I faced with an unplesant issue. I`ve been charged twice, for both rooms, which I booked. This broke my vacation and stressed me a lot. But finaly everything has been fixed.Tip; Improve the relationship between the hotel and a third party, through which rooms are reserved. Thank you.

Very clean and comfortable, breakfast was great

The doors slammed, we were by an exit and it was constantly being slammed. The gentleman that worked the night shift wasn't very nice.
