Comfort Inn

I thought the breakfast was really good. It's not a Denny's ihop or fancy restaurant it's a free continental breakfast at a hotel. There was many choices, all the machines worked and it was hot and fresh. I see people on here complaining about the breakfast but we enjoyed it. The hotel was clean and the staff we talked to was very friendly, nice and accommodating.

The bathroom door would not stay open, the bathroom didn't have a vent which it was hot in there after a shower and the water pressure wasn't that great in our room. We stayed in the Ferdinand IN location.

The building is clean and appears to have been renovated recently. The bathroom, main room and linen was clean. The room had all stated items. The common areas were clean and well lite. The pool was typical hotel pool, lots of chlorine. Small patio area outside of pool room. Laundry area each machine $1-2 per load (no availability to purchase soap in room). The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even while short staffed. Brittany was great bussing the breakfast line (over 60 people in 30 minutes, kept line stocked) and Paige was helpful in extra towel and trash bag supplies. Front desk staff very helpful with local area questions. Minutes from Holiday World.

Like all businesses, short staffed. Had to empty our own trash daily. Again all extra supplies readily available. The beds are very firm, traffic from the street and interstate is audible in room. Limited dinning areas/open times in town, no fault of hotel. Fan in bathroom not operational, had to keep restroom door closed as to not set off fire alarm in room. Worst aspect was the multiple guest on our floor that smoked marijuana (atleast consider others and try edibles or oil if your going to a hotel, some people have medical issues with weed smoke/odor). The smell permeated the halls the first 2 days, day 3 was GREAT, those people checked out.

Very nice and comfortable room and bedding. TV is a bit smaller than one would expect for a nice hotel as such. Property seems to be looked after regularly and taken care with pride. Clean parking lot, well surfaced lot not filled with potholes, cracks or loose gravel fills. Walked in to a nice small but clean lobby, hallways clean, elevators clean. Really enjoy a clean and well kept hotel stay. Breakfast was good too! Will book another stay next time I/we are in the area for a stay.

Only complaint would be the pool area. Very very warm area even in the evening/sun down and very strong chlorine odor in the air. Eyes start to burn within minutes of walking in the pool hall. Good thing of it, will kill the germs of many people getting in the pool and those who might have urinated in the water. Please don’t pee in the pool though!

Comfortable and clean. Staff were very nice and helpful. Hot Breakfast was good… most hotels aren’t doing this yet, so we were very happy to enjoy a warm breakfast and not have to leave early just to grab something to eat at a restaurant.

We were visiting holiday world for 2 days. Didn’t realize that only 7 min down the road we would be in a different time zone. This is obviously something that can not be helped, but it’s the only negative thing I have to say about this location. Definitely would stay here again.

Very convenient to Holiday World. Several fast food places available around the hotel that were opened late. Love how tall the ceilings are. It makes the room feel so spacious. Breakfast had a nice variety and the lemon water available in the lobby was a nice. Staff were all very nice.

The only problem I had was when I pulled bad the comforter on my bed there was an old blood stain on it. Everything else was very clean in the room so I was very shocked when I found that. I just pulled it back over and slept on top with the blanket I brought. I did tell the front desk when I checked out and she said she would let housekeeping know, so hopefully they will take care of that.

Check-in and check out were simple. Any questions we had were quickly answered. The size of the rooms were great. Everything worked as it should.

We visited holiday world close by, and the hotel is in a different time zone, which can be a little confusing. However, the hotel did a good job of having 2 clocks in the lobby to help. There were also reminders in the room, which helped as well.

The location was perfect since a snowstorm had begun!

First of all, finding the entrance to the hotel parking was terrible and confusing. We had to call the hotel to find out how to get there! The room was fine. The breakfast was terrible. The hot food was heated to order and was absolutely inedible. The dining room was freezing cold. They were out of many items. We took cereal and hot drinks to the room.

The breakfast the staff but only one staff was bad she made us repay and it was a mistake

i think the breakfast should've been better theres a lot of stuff but no bacon or any of that good stuff

Location was great for a visit to Holiday World and easy to get in and out. Breakfast was great. Room was fairly comfortable and liked the convienance of the mini fridge and microwave.

Overall the room/bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Bathroom floor needed mopped and the light fixture was broken. Seems like maybe an updated bathroom and tub would do the trick.

Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We slept very well. Friendly and helpful staff and good continental breakfast. Great location for our visit to Holiday World, just a 20 minute drive without traffic. Quiet and relaxing for an overnight stop.

Pool was small and felt dirty at the end of the day. But for kids, it's still a fun way to spend the evening.
