Super 8 by Wyndham Salina I-70

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great - it had a pancake maker that made great pancakes, and also had cereal, yogurt, coffee and juice. The pool was nice and warm and clean. The hotel in general was very clean. Comfortable beds. It was a great stay for our family with 3 kids under 8 years old. Also there were restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations close by

The building is a little dated - it could use some updating/renovations inside, ie. painting and change out carpeting.

I liked everything about it. I was concerned someone e would steal. My tool box They stold a bunch of tools out of a truck close to me I did have mine secured. I liked the pancakes the yogurt were really small I didn't care for biscuits and gravy oatmeal with nuts and raisins would be healthier gravy is not healthy your cereal wasn't Anything I would eat.

The food and I needed a ladder to get on the bed. Also the bathtub was hard to get in And out of too high for us older folks

The property was right off of I-70 and 9th street, very convenient. It's an older property but well kept up. Clean and comfortable. The Breakfast was okay if you aren't too worried about protein, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, yogurt and juice. Good for as small as this place is. For the price it's a great overnight stay.

Some eggs and sausage/bacon would have been nice. But if you insist on those things there's a McDonalds next door. Otherwise no problems.

The room was quite clean and comfortable. The sink, tub, etc were all fairly recently remodeled and it showed. The woman who checked us in was friendly & helpful. Everything was smooth & easy.

The bathroom could have used another pass by the cleaner -- there were smudges from handprints behind the door and some soap scum in the tub. Fairly minor stuff and the only issues we saw.

Hotel was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Hot breakfast was decent. Location was in a great spot and easy to get to. The hotel clerk the night we checked in was very nice. . I'd stay again.

Really wasn't anything to not like. Water pressure is soft is about the only thing I could think of.

The room

The breakfast, gravy was cold even though plugged in. Not a lot of selection. Another person staying there the same night had items stolen out of his work truck and the person on duty couldn't let him look at the video's from the cameras.

Obviously there's this covid thing so you have the basic precautionary measures in place which limits some things but I'm not the biggest people person anyway so thats fine with me. The fact they are pet friendly is the biggest pmus for those who take their buddy wherever they can. Onsite laundry is always clutch. The guy at the front desk was more than helpful. I personally liked the bench in the room to put your shoes on. The back of the parking lot was more than well lit.

I wouldn't say I didn't like, but the area out back could have the container and shed moved and put a little fenced in area for those traveling with dogs. It would be a pretty decent size one and I know people would love that. Maybe the pool will be up when this masking stuff ends.

The location is good except for the noise from the freeway and from noise around the facility. something need to be done to deaden the noise, or maybe offer some type of 'white noise' for the room. The breakfast bag was nice considering the conditions we are in, it was nice to have something in the morning.

The noise, cars driving around the side of the motel and past the motel on the nearby road- way too much noise and the room was very poor at keeping the noise out.

Location was easy to find. Breakfast hit the bare minimum. Room and bed were comfortable. Everything clean.

Microwave was noisy. Little choice of every item offered but people seemed to make do. i.e. only two flavors of yogurt, no vanilla, only two kinds of cerial, one flavor of oatmeal ( but it was the one I like!).

Stay was pleasant.

Beds were high off the ground, hard for my disabled mother to get on/off the bed. Seems I was late requesting a handicap room when I made reservations the prior month.
