Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Salina

Breakfast was same as most hotels these days, fake scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, etc., etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. Hotel only 2 years old, very nice and clean. Location is amazing - sits alone on a side road in an almost rural setting and is very quiet. Lots of good local restaurants nearby. Easy to find and to get back on the highway again. Would highly recommend.

Requested a quiet, upper floor room which is where we were located. Desk clerk said only expecting 9 more reservations to show up, leaving an almost empty hotel. Can't explain why she chose to place everyone on the same floor, all practically next one another. Two small children in adjacent room crying and fussing all night long put an end to the peace and quiet. We are not handicapped but always seem to wind up in that type room when requesting a king bed.

Clean, accessible, friendly and convenient. My son lives a few blocks away and does not have room for us to bunk in. We enjoy being with him until bedtime and then going to our room. The setup is clean, easy to navigate and non-intrusive in all the good ways.

I still hate paying 100 for any room that I am in for five-eight hours.

Breakfast was excellent. There were hot eggs, western omelet, regular and vegie sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereals, fruit, etc. The hot food warmers actually worked. Location was 6 miles south of I-70 but close to stores and restaurants. It was worth the minimal detour from our route. Staff stored our bikes in the office so we didn't have to take them into our room.

Nothing. The facilities were recently new, fresh, clean, quiet and well maintained.

The shower door was so clean, it looked like there wasn't a door there! Room was nice and bed was comfortable.

My daughter found gum under the ledge by the window. That was kinda gross. Pool was super cold!

We loved our stay! The room was clean and comfortable. Their pool is a saltwater heated pool and was great!!

The staff were friendly and the hotel was bright and clean. Our room was clean and spacious!

I don’t believe this would apply to all rooms but our mattress was older than I would’ve expected from a newer facility. The bed had a large sunken hole on one side that made sleeping uncomfortable.

I travel to Salina often for work and I usually always stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a good location central to all the shopping/good, the hotel staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and most of the time the hotel itself is on the quiet side which is a huge plus aswell!

After a long day of driving, this hotel was an oasis. The room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. Although somewhat isolated, there are a number of restaurants a short drive away. I was pleased with the breakfast ... a number of healthy choices.

Kitchen staff exceptional and friendly. Sausages boiled but tasty, overall good experience

Check in staff one person at main desk, distant and not very friendly.

Our room was great. Bed was comfy. Workout facility was nice. Place felt clean.

The comforter was heavy and hot. But was able to get a blanket instead for the 2nd night that made it more comfortable.
