This historic inn was amazing. We didn’t know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Heather was so friendly and helpful. The location right off the Ohio river and the view of the bridge was breathtaking. We stayed in the oldest part of the inn. The spiral staircase, vintage wallpaper with murals, and the antique furniture was very charming. Our room was newly remodeled, nice bathroom and shower, the beds very comfortable. Missy made us fresh, hot breakfast with coffee/tea to go as ate in the dining room both mornings. Walking distance from downtown Maysville. We spent the day shopping and visiting the museum. We loved our stay! Thank you for the southern hospitality.

Lee House was a truly unexpected pleasure. We were already expecting a nice stay, but they still exceeded our expectations by a mile. The staff was wonderful; Heather and Missy were so sweet, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and Ann was a lovely, charming hostess. The suite was amazing, with a large, comfortable bedroom, and appointed as well as any 5-star hotel; yet comes at a price comparable to most 3-star hotels. Will we definitely be staying there again the next time we are in Maysville.
Not much to add here - there were a couple of very small maintenance items that needed attention (loose faucet handles), but nothing at all that spoiled our experience. I would have liked a little larger shower stall (or better yet a tub), but I am on the large side (6'4" - 270) and so I think most people will be just fine with the walk-in shower.

Spectacular place! A beautifully renovated old building rich with history. The room was huge, with an extra place to relax and watch TV. The bedroom itself had two large beds that were spaced so far apart it was like an extra bedroom for our teenage son. Lovely soft carpet and all exceptionally clean. The breakfast was cooked on the spot by a very talented and sweet cook who whipped up a feast and kindly packed up the leftovers for us. The Innkeeper had a vast and deep knowledge of the place and was able to provide us with some interesting historical facts and local knowledge. It is clear that the hotel is a cherished and much-valued place and there aren't many places like this left. The town itself is a gem and we wish we could have stayed longer. And indeed we will stay here again!

The history of the place is exceptional. Hosts are helpful both in getting you settled in and providing information about the Lee House Inn and the town. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was delicious, and the host shared more interesting background on the historical significance of the Inn and its architecture. Maysville itself is quaint and very pretty, set up against the beautiful, lush Kentucky hills and the Ohio River. Highly recommend as a day trip.

My team (NightSong Paranormal) was in town to investigate a location in the next town over (Brooksville). When I was booking hotel rooms, I always look for good reviews, 8.5 or above rating with excellent amenities and breakfast. I stumbled across a listing on Booking.com for The Lee House Inn. It had 10 stars from reviews with all the amenities and breakfast. Amanda had called a few days before our stay and was a pleasure to speak with! She even greeted us outside at check in and escorted us to our rooms. The suites were immaculate with personal touches everywhere. I could live here!! So very comfortable. I felt at home immediately. The room had a nice welcome bag, snacks, water, and everything else we could have ever wanted. After a comfortable nights rest, we had the most amazing breakfast and was given a tour of the Lee House by the city commissioner Ms. Ann. What a treat that was! A beautiful home rich with history. I cannot say enough about this charming hotel. From the accommodations to hospitality. 10/10! We are already planning our next trip back to stay a long weekend so we can soak up all Maysville has to offer.

We didn't get to stay for the breakfast as we had to leave early but this place is really adorable. They have kept as much of the old world charm as they could while updating it for modern amenities. I totally wasn't expecting a microwave and small fridge in the room. The rooms are a good size as well. The desk, TV console and couch in the room didn't feel crowded. I would totally stay here again.
The only things I would suggest is a king bed and a small table or nightstand on both sides of the bed. The bed was ok as far as comfort but my husband weighs more than I do so I always feel like I'm going slightly downhill when we sleep in a queen bed. My side of the bed didn't have a nightstand so I didn't have anywhere to put my phone and glasses.

The history. It was like going back in time. The property is being restored. We stayed in a newly restored suite. We had a beautiful view of the Ohio River.
What's not to like. It was good enough for Andrew Jackson to stay there. The property provided a very unique experience.

Didn’t have breakfast. Location is great for what we wanted to do. I felt safe but it is a bit of a worry coming in later at night when alone since there is no one around.
Overall everything was fine. I would like to see a cheerier decor. Steps can be a problem especially if your alone and have no help with luggage. Grounds kept nice. Especially loved all the flower pots!

The facilities were interestingly nice and also clean. The location is top notch. Close to historic downtown but quietly tucked down the street on the Ohio River. The hostess Felicia was great, super nice and accommodating. The breakfast was also wonderful and delicious

EVERYTHING. Our stay was phenomenal and the staff and ownership was truly exceptional. We have truly never experienced this level of hospitality!
The only thing that would have been nice was a sink in the kitchenette area. However, we would easily overlook this and it would not impact our future stays, since everything else was absolutely exceptional.
