The hotel was just fine, perfect for my needs. The location is 15 miles from the Great Serpent Mound, my destination. It was also a pleasant surprise to find an "East Coast" style diner right next door, within walking distance (The Cruiser Diner).
There were issues with the breakfast. The breakfast was supposed to be served from 5:30 until 9:00am, but I arrived into the breakfast room at 8:00 and there were no scrambled eggs left, there was almost no gravy for the biscuits N gravy and there was no obvious food service staff in sight to whom I could ask for help. I was able to scrape together a breakfast, but it was a bit of a disappointment considering the fact that everything else about this Quailty Inn had exceeded my expectations.

The location of the room was a little noisy right by the stairs and outside door but didn't keep us up.

Everything was kept nicely cleaned. Encounters with the staff were very pleasant. Christmas Eve had a few patrons so the breakfast bar was by order rather than wasting a bunch of food.
Oh there they were a few patrons the rooms occupied were all together allowing for disturbing noises transferring from other rooms. I would have appreciated a empty room between four rooms due to the noise transfer. I would’ve liked a bath rather than a shower.

The variety of breakfast was very good even under Covid 19. The room quality was same as Comfort Inn-Clean.
