There was no breakfast, but we expected none. Bed was firm and comfortable, room was clean, only very minor quibble was another patron being place right next door even though many rooms were available for a one-night Sunday stay. We had to search to get a phone number to speak directly with someone onsite, and the friendly candor of the advice to book online for better rates was a big plus. We got exactly what we wanted.

Information and directions to nearby restaurants could have been better informed, but this too was a minor concern.

check in process. 90 degrees and I had to stand outside to check in while the person inside of office was clearly enjoying the air conditioning. I thought at first it was a security measure, however to get ice, you came in the side door to the open office. To have customers stand in 90 degree heat in the sun to check in, really? cmon! Floor lamp in room did not work.

We wanted a classic economy motel from the past (with 21st cen amenities) and this was exactly what we wanted. The room was comfortable; it was a good experience. You couldn't beat the price anywhere!! BTW the people at the Nissan dealership are extremely friendly. We charged our car there as well as downtown. There is no cost for charging in Pikeville!!! - and no Tesla stations.

I was driving an electric car and no fault of the motel, the charging station, which by the way takes 12 hours to charge was located several miles away, and when I called ahead, the person who answered the phone had no idea where I could charge the car. The Hampton Inn next door to the parking garage where the charger was located did know. But Tesla's navigation directions were terrible. They took you to an address behind the parking garage so it looked like there was no charger.

Good quality for the price you pay. There's no flashiness so you don't pay for it. I loved that fact. The two gentleman I had dealings with were very friendly and answered my questions well. I am a smoker, and was offered a smoking room if I wanted one and no extra charge. The location was great. Up top a hill with great views of the mountains. The room was really clean, no found dirt anywhere. The best part, the water pressure in the shower. I've never experienced that before and I'd stay there again just for that.

I really don't have anything I disliked about my stay. Good price, good room for the price, good location. You get your monies worth.

The Motel was in a good location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy. Desk person was friendly, helpful and very pleasant .... one of the highlights of the stay. My special requests were met without problem.

Would have enjoyed a coffee maker in the room. Our schedule required us to depart before coffee was available in the main office.

The room was very affordable,and the staff was friendly. There a laundry room to do your clothes.also house keeping was very good about coming by to see if we needed anything.

The only thing that I had a problem with.Was that there was no phone in the room to call out on.

Awesome people and exceeded my expectations for a motor inn. I left my babies blanket and when I came back the next week they had saved it washed it and had it waiting to return when I came back for work again. That's awesome. Rooms are very clean, still a motor inn but clean and comfortable enough esp for quick work trip or pit stop.

If paying with card that doesn't use credit you must pay a cash deposit which you do get back after inspection and check out which is reasonable . But Just bring card or credit card if that is considered a hassle. But my inspections where always smooth and quick and no hassle when getting my deposit back

Centrally located for exploring the area. It's an older motel, but clean. Management was accommodating to our request for a quiet room away from noise.

Would've preferred a king bed for the two of us. The tub faucet dripped all night. The bathtub was stained and needs a good scrubbing.

Went for a show at appalachian arena , these turned out to be print out tickets instead of scan your phone, the office was very accommodating in helping us print them out, a lifesaver

Everything was amazing, beyond perfect! will definitely be staying again.

The only small thing, and it was mostly because of the timing of when i came, was the internet not working some of the time. but i didnt let that stop me from having a great time.
