Hyatt Place Baton Rouge/I-10

Amazing, friendly staff- They were available when needed. Had a smile and greeted guests. Super clean rooms even though there was a wait at check in. The best breakfast that I have ever had at any hotel. Keep it up!

Only two things. The guests should be given an option to pay cash at hotel instead of having to put credit/debit cards on hold the entire stay. Other than that, no complaints. Also, other guests were not able to enjoy the pool area due to other guests allowing their children to dive in the pool when the rules were clearly posted not to. Rules should be more enforced to avoid serious injury. Other than that, no other complaints.

The size of the room was great and the furniture was comfortable and appeared to be clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful whenever we interacted with them. The hotel is right by the mall and several restaurants, tea and/or coffee shops, and the freeway. It isn’t too far from downtown/LSU either.

The elevator was making grinding and creaking noises that were a little worrisome. Our room had a straight view of the parking lot and the freeway directly behind it, which wasn’t pleasant, but we couldn’t hear any noise and weren’t there for sightseeing anyways so it wasn’t a huge deal. Also, the trees are bare so once spring hits it’s likely the trees will cover the view of the freeway. I do wish there was a microwave in the room—that is my only real ask.

The breakfast was really good. You can tell the staff really cares The room was very comfortable. My only take back is i think the sheets could smell cleaner And vacuuming needs more attention. The room was very comfortable and we will definitely stay again. Very close to everything. Mall is directly across the the street. Walking distance.

Etremely noisy due to motorcycle racing all hours of the day. The breakfast was not complementary, you had to pay $18 plus for it. Some of the staff did not speak English. The restaurant served great dishes for dinner. Overall great facilities. Poor choice of location.

The room nice had a VERY NICE LAYOUT with a desk, sofa, fridge and comfy bed. Breakfast was a great addition to the service and our room offered plenty of lights, internet service and hot water in the shower. The parking got full at night but we were able to park next door until the next morning. Perfectly located near a shopping mall, banks and grocery stores, I will specifically look to stay here on our next trip.

The Starbucks in the lobby of the hotel did not serve frozen or blended drinks which I love, ie, frappes. I had to go away from the hotel to purchase them. Later in the night, the pre-packaged foods in the Starbuck's cooler case were not re-stocked until morning so we were unable to purchase salads and some sandwiches on the premises. It was not a big deal but noticed. Hubby bought chips instead.

The room was clean, the shower was awesome, and the location, proximity to the mall was perfect.

The mattress is hard. I also have always loved staying here bc of the pay-per-view movies, but that’s not available anymore. I would only consider staying somewhere else bc they have comfortable pillow top mattresses.

Room service did not even attempt to straighten the room or remove any trash. I had to place the trash outside the door. Also no new towels were brought up to the room at all .

staff in the morning could be more professional. they wouldn’t aknowledge our presence and took very long with another customer. they did answer when we finally asked a question though

Front entrance closed for renovation. All dark, just a tiny post-it note saying to go to the undefined back entrance. Breakfast arrangements were strange: no one explained, but you were supposed to fill in some form and then hand it on to an attendant sitting in a side room...

Everything was great. Customer service was awesome. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The room is very clean. The hotel smells great, and that's impressive. Breakfast was on point. I'm working a contract job in Baton Rouge Louisiana three days per week for the next three months, so this will definitely be my home away from home three days per week for the next three months. Lovely place to stay. Thank you for everything that you do to keep us safe.
