I had expected the breakfast to be like a continental, however when I saw the menus on the tables and read the offerings I was in disbelief. It was a well thought out menu with something for everyone. If wee ordered this breakfast at any restaurant it would have been $30 easy for the two of us. Scott and Vincent excell at their hospitality and its very easy to see why they have remained in business for over 30 years. I have traveled worldwide on trips on I have won thru sales, and you won't find a better place , with better people that want nothing more than to make your visit a joy. I have been handing out their cards to all my friends and telling them if they want a special place to get away from the stress or chaos of life, to rebuild your relationship with your other half, or just to enjoy serenity there is not a better place I can recommend, and I have never handed out cards before. Hats off to these guys for creating such a place and keeping it so welcoming and stress free in such a world we fund ourselves in today. P.S. did I mention they have a common kitchen and in the fridge was shelves of deserts like bread pudding and cherry cobbler etc that are complimentary as you want even a can of whip cream to top off.

My only recommendation and I mentioned it to Vincent who was the chef, among other duties I am sure, was that they should put out a bowl of sliced lemons for the ice water and the hot teas.

From the moment we arrived Scott was attentive and made us feel very welcome. He gave us a tour of the facilities and the freedom of the inn. Our bedrooms were comfy, we had everything that we needed, even down to a little chocolate surprise waiting for us after the rooms were cleaned and beds remade. We were impressed by their minimal carbon footprint. Our cooked breakfasts were delightful, Vince was an excellent chef and we loved the help yourself continental style breakfast too. We found the ability to make tea and coffee and bonus of fruit and cakes a pleasing addition to our stay. They provided a fridge for guests to use for perishables and a well stocked bar for us to purchase drinks at any time which was also a lovely bonus.

We didn’t know it had been awarded one of the top 5 B&B in New England due to their eco friendly until after our arrival. Managers extremely gave a warm & friendly welcome during our entire 48 hour stay. Located in the countryside so the drive to/from Augusta a most pleasant one. Local cat greeted us every time we arrived back at the B&B. :>)

Having to leave this B&B, wish we had known how relaxing the accommodations were - we would have stayed a week rather than 2 nights.

The quaintness of this establishment exceeded my expectations. The Inn is well cared for and tended carefully by the 2 wonderful owners. If you are looking for central air and vending machines this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for a true B&B experience in an area with lots of local flavor, Maple Hill will fit your needs.

Comfort height toilets would be a good addition when updating the bathroom.

We stayed for one night so that we could take a look at Augusta on our way to Acadia. The owners were very welcoming, the location was beautiful, and we had an excellent breakfast before getting back on our way. The farm's a short distance from a local beauty spot, the inn has maps and the hike is well worth it. Best of all they have Llamas, the Llamas look great with the Maine fall foliage.

We both loved the environmental credentials of this homely hotel and the homecooked goods available were such a lovely and generous touch. The art on the walls of restaurant area was also stunning, as was the breakfast we enjoyed there.

This is such a warm, serene and welcoming place in an beautiful farm setting. My friends and I enjoyed the desserts, bar and outdoor jacuzzi. The breakfast was fabulous, and the hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful

just beautiful country grounds…flowers, fields. Love that the philosophy is “green”. Scott was so welcoming and friendly. spent time in sauna and hot tub with a glass of wine. Staff cheerful. love the country atmosphere. Would love to go back in winter with the fireplace going. will go again.

Beautiful setting , sustainable travel focus and a home away from home with all the amenities of a hotel - and then some! Vince and Scott are wonderful hosts and the breakfast is simply superb. We will be back.

The Dining Room was more than pleasing to the senses- sunny, with local artist's work displayed on the walls. Breakfast options aplenty served by Chef Vince-with a smile to boot! Gorgeous landscape! A feel-good place. Stay there-you won't be disappointed!
