Inn at the Agora

The Inn at Agora is very charming. The Inn Owner is very accommodating and thoughtful. There were small detailed amenities like a stocked pantry with snacks and tea and coffee that added to the coziness of the atmosphere. The building is very old but well preserved and very neat and clean. It could use a few minor cosmetic updates, but those things will most likely come in time, and they lend to it's charm. It is a great location with many eateries, churches, and things to do. I highly recommend it.

The one thing I would consider doing at some point is to replace is the rug on the stairway - it looks rather worn and I would imagine is difficult to keep clean. A new runner at some point would add to the charm of the Inn.

The bed was so comfortable, the attention to detail stunning! Staff who welcomed us was so thorough. A very unique property!

We walked through the park across the street on our way to dinner at the mill facility on Lisbon. After dinner we asked the restaurant manager if we should walk back and she discouraged us. That gave me pause about the neighborhood. We felt very safe earlier however. The exhaust fan in the Msr. Wallace bath really grinds and needs replacement.

What a charming inn! From the tall ceilings to the binder of postcards preserved from the early 1900's in the parlor filled with games and a relaxing atmosphere, we loved the step back into history. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The innkeeper is super friendly and has put out little touches of comfort in every hallway - amenities and a great little coffee/snack area.

The neighborhood is sketchy, but the inn has a well-lit parking area and super modern security that makes you feel very safe.

This place has lots of character and charm. You are here in a cozy old house, and the people who work here are very personable, caring and interesting. There are also some very modern conveniences, like the door locks and security system. There is a good selection of coffee and snacks available too.

If climbing stairs is a challenge, you have to be aware that the rooms are on the second floor. Now that we are getting older ourselves, this is something to think about.

Sarah at the front desk was really helpful and friendly. Nice and clean, lots of thoughtful little extras. Love that they have kept up this old character house. Great central location, we had a lot of fun exploring the old mill complex, river walk, microbreweries and rollerdrome all only a couple minutes walk.

Inn at the Agora is more like staying at a member of the family’s home, rather than an Inn. The beautiful restored interior has all the charm of a house of its era. The amenities and staff make you feel like you’re at moms house.

I like old properties. It was nice, interesting and the family and staff were friendly. Rooms comfortable.

I felt safe and would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area. This section of town I hope meets some of its challenges. Don’t think I would walk the area at night by myself

Breakfast was fine. we ate at Simones. It was within easy walking distance. We ate dinner at DaVincis--an excellent restaurant within walking distance as well. It seemed like the inn thought of every little detail, which was very nice.

I can't think of anything negative.

Beautiful place, rooms were spacious and very clean. Location is a little sketchy...but not owners fault.

Had no problems 😊, other than surrounding park and people being sketchy.
