Candlewood Suites Aberdeen-Bel Air, an IHG Hotel

Family friendly with great accommodations for adults and kids. Great for short or extended stay. Kitchenette comes stocked with a dishwasher, stove top, microwave, a full size refrigerator and kitchen sink. The hotel provides dishes and utensils. The beds are comfortable. Onsite you have access to 24 hr free washers and dryers, and a gym. On those hot days you can cool off in the outdoor pool. The hotel has a store pantry and there are shops and restaurants a short drive away. A really great place to stay.

The hotel itself was very nice, had all the amenities I needed, good wifi, comfy furnishings. I like that it was set back from road which gave some extra privacy.

The road it's on is a little dangerous. If you miss the turn, which is easy to do, it's not easy to turn around. Harford County is mostly country roads with a few main roads interspersed. The intersection here has a few things, but it's not the best and not really convenient to shopping or restaurants unless you want to get on 95.

My room was very nice, it had hardwood floors, nice size desk, full size refrigerator, microwave, 2 eye range top, nice size sink and dishwasher. My only complaint is, it was supposed to be a Queen size bed and it definitely wasn’t, it was a full size bed. These hotels need to stop offering Queen room rates with full size beds. Hospitality at the front desk was very nice. I had to get someone to fix my tv and even the tv guy was very nice. My overall stay was very pleasant.

I went with a lower price room for a one night stay. People were paying 2 1/2 times the price I paid for these suites elsewhere. The room was huge, clean, full kitchen (included a dishwasher). Bathroom was roomy too. Thermostat for the room, made it even more comfy. little to no noise outside my room.

This was an accessible room, but had a bathtub without a rubber bath mat. Too slippery for my husband to use. A walk-in shower with grab bars would be safer, but at a minimum there should be a good bath mat.

The people who work there. Were very very nice. It was clean and close to places to eat.

Some things in the room were not in the best of shape. Shower handle was very loose, the body wash bottle had a broken spout. Also the ice maker didn't work.

The location was 6 minutes from soccer fields and this was great! Value was good for the price. Staff were super nice and open to fixing our bill and any other needs we had. The borrowing of games was a cute idea and the little store for snacks and necessities was very nice to have. All in all a good experience .

In the middle of remodeling of course so a little bit of clutter around.

The little kitchen space in our room was great. The room was clean and the staff very nice. We did not use the pool or exercise room, but they were available. Cracker Barrel was within walking distance.

The only thing missing was a breakfast. They had coffee and food to buy...but I think that was the only thing we would have improved.

woman screaming next door to room for 2 hours. called front desk but she continued screaming. she should’ve been removed or police called.

There was only 1 person out of the whole hotel staff that wasn’t very nice The bed was not comfortable that was the only thing I didn’t like about it
